My guess is the Bitcoin community will keep resisting this idea for the foreseeable future. Also, adding the extra necessary opcodes could add new risks. T

Hope I'm paraphrasing you correctly ser, are you saying that a Bitcoin L2 is still not sufficient as long as its scripting language is not powerful enough?
