- My conclusion:
There are periodically hyped platforms; we had a Friendtech season, and now we're in a Farcaster season, but #Lens has always been there. This is what matters, not the temporary hypes.
- This is Lulu — my first doggie. I found her on Highway 1. She comes up in my photo feed almost daily. She was so sweet.

- It’s spring in Bolinas. Do you love it?
- Thinking about my mom who died in March 2017. A very uncanny thing happened. She died and I walked to the living room. This image from The Third Man movie was on tv. I took this picture of it on the left. On the right is a photo of my mom in Florence. They are so similar. Isn’t this amazing? So poetic. So eerie.
- I love nature and the sound of the ocean. When I find a rainbow, I feel like a kid. I want to do cartwheels. The treasure, the pot of gold, is the wonder we feel and pure joy. Take it in. Do you feel the same?
- I’m certain dogs have feelings. Nano has an inner world. He barks in his sleep. He perks up when he hears my name. He misses me when I’m away. He longs for walks and gets excited when he sees his leash. When you have a furry friend, you feel lucky in life. Nano brings out the best in me. can You relate?

CHAPTER 1
Mom loved opera music. Sometimes I saw her crying as she sang to arias she knew by heart. She told me she cried because the story was sad. People could not always be with the person they loved. Love destroyed people by its sheer force. Or people destroyed love by asking for too much. Love was sometimes just wrong. And, sometimes it was impossible, not meant to be, and people suffered. Hearts were broken. People lied to each other. “Love doesn’t last,” Mom admonished. Grandma warned me “Love betrays.” I didn’t understand all this because I was just a little girl but I would nod my head, “I know.”
The picture is mom.
- Decor sometimes looks like it’s hiding something. I prefer to see the hooks.
- How do you answer the question, “where did you grow up?” Seems simple enough. but Think about it. When did you grow up? Were you a child when you grew up? Or maybe you haven’t “grown up” or maybe you were on planet earth or maybe at a party. So many answers to a seemingly simple question. My answer is “Mexico.” That‘s where I became conscious of my being And my experiences enriched and colored my life. This is me in Guadalajara at 7 years old. All grown up.

- does anyone else do these types of exercises (shenanigans) when friends come over for a quick drink?
- Does anyone get up early like 3:30 am — and love the extra time in the day? It’s so tempting to expand the day. But I know it’s bad!
