- Yesterday Lens Protocol had the highest DIU value in last months.
General trend shows growth since going permitionless.
- If video games teach us one thing: If you want to motivate humans, frequent rewards are more addicting than one-off rewards.
- If you are not Sybil mint this post
- LayerZero approach to Sybil’s activity although pragmatic, oversimplifies the problem:
I) oversimplified criteria to identify Sybil’s will create lots of false positive
II) giving 15% of airdrop value to Sybil’s that come forward only works once, otherwise it just creates a defined ROI % for Sybil activity.
Identifying and compensating organic activity is one of the hardest problems in the industry and it is hardly solved with a one size fits all solution.
Social graph quality activity should be a criteria that is used more often to classify organic users and compensate their activity in incentive distribution.
Although creating a bot that farms a social graph is not hard, creating a high social signal account is much harder and depends of a number of subjective factors that are harder to farm that general onchain activity.
- Paid collects is a nice metric to look at considering it’s very high intent
- Collects on Lens casually hitting new volume ($) records in the last few days.
- Lens crossed 300k profiles, congrats to the Lens community. 🥳
Great time to bring your friends onto Lens.
- These two charts combined offer an interest insight.
Social graph trough a multiple app experience.
Instead of a zero-sum game (one wins, others lose), we can have a positive-sum game (cooperation leads to all gaining more).
- Proud of all Lens builders helping to achieve app diversity 🥹

- Now Lens has up to date data dashboard, kudos to @lens/sealaunch for all the work
- After the initial hype of going permissionless, @lens/lens has been adding new users every week (20k to 25k per week) which mint a profile and effective bring revenue to the protocol that now sits at around $ 760k.
It will be interesting once revenue stream shifts from new users (minted profiles) to protocol activity with initiatives like LIP-23 (turn on protocol fees for free collects).

- The @lens/sealaunch team is built different.
- Happy to work on the new @lens/lens dashboard on @lens/dune
Check it out here: https://dune.com/lens/lens-protocol
- I was just thinking about this🤔. I think it's doable. Make it fun by asking player to use bonsai
- Wallets still are the main interaction dapp for lots of users in crypto (similar to a browser in web2).
Wallets that leverage this + good UI are able to monetize at scale
- DEX trading on @lens/base had a big impact on Rainbow (volume/fees/users).
At peak days Base represented +80% of volume/+70% of users on Rainbow.
And March was the second best month in terms of volume/fees.

- When Facebook filled for the IPO, here’s what they said about Zynga:
In 2011, Zynga accounted for approximately 12% of our revenue, which amount was comprised of revenue derived from payments processing fees related to Zynga’s sales of virtual goods and from direct advertising purchased by Zynga.
To date, games from Zynga have generated the majority of our payments and other fees revenue.
- Are there any good examples of games built on top of Lens?
The impact of a native social game on top of Lens Protocol that leverages open actions could be a good way to reach new audiences, combining a fun game, habit-forming daily interactions, viral loops, and microtransactions.
- Still feel that the network effects of social graphs are being underestimated. We only had a glimpse so far.

- Bonsai after today's announcement
- Enjoy
- Memecoins have arrived to Zora Network
- As anyone explored an open action that would allow creators to pay the community/followers for an action (besides as a referral on a collect)?
Example:
Receive 1 Bonsai if you mirror this post
- 📈📉📈
- BONSAI price vs Bonsai Mentions
- Correlation does not imply causation
- Check our contribuiton to OurNetwork newsletter, with some stats about $BONSAI

- Interesting read by @lens/ournetwork on the growth of @lens/bonsai last 2 weeks. Especially its impact on paid collects and monetization in the ecosystem.

- Another record day for DEXs on Base, with ~$ 960M in volume yesterday.
93% of volume happened on Uniswap and 23% of total volume was related to the pair mfer-WETH
- Also sharing here some thoughts on LIP-23 @lens/christina @lens/levychain @lens/stani
In favour of a small fixed fee for free mints.
This is an effective way for:
- increase protocol financial sustainability;
- align incentives for users that create mass distributed mints at a low price,
- provide an additional revenue stream for Apps and other market participants.
Some additional thoughts:
- Fee value: When Zora and Sound.xyz introduced Protocol Rewards, minting fee was equivalent to $ 1,5 per mint. With the increase in ETH price, now it's closer to the double of this amount. The fee should be upgraded periodically to avoid a very high fee relative cost.
- Having a fixed fee for free collects and a % fee paid mints creates an unbalanced fee structure where the following may happen:
- Creator sets the price to zero, the collect costs $ 2 (collect fee) per mint. Creator receives $ 1.
- Creator sets the fee to paid with a price of $ 2 per mint. Creator receives $ 1,9.
If the % fee is paid in any token, how is it for the fixed fee?
Considering the above, the best option would be to have also a fixed fee for paid collects (in a smaller amount), similar to Zora and Sound (see below) and consider an option to pay in alternative tokens.

- It seems that OpenSea is attracting NFT secondary volume on @base.
On the 26 of March, @base represented 47% of total volume on OpenSea.

- Inscriptions are now on Blobs, sky rocketing Blobs price.

- DEXs volume and users on @base reached new ATH yesterday.
https://dune.com/sealaunch/dex-metrics-on-base
- Base had another record day yesterday with $ 1,7M in L2 fees.
This is the second day that @base crossed $ 1,5M in daily L2 fees in the last 6 days.
- Wondering how successful a socialcoin launch would be by using Lens collect module free post for allocation. Collect the NFT then exchange it/receive the ERC20 token.
- A single token pre sale was the receiver of 71% of the daily active addresses on Base on March 16
- Memecoins are social in the form of ERC-20
