First, the background on how gas is used in DLN⛽︎
DLN avoids liquidity pools to bring you native cross-chain trades that confirm in seconds, without exposing you to wrapped assets, MEV, or AMM slippage. Here’s how this happens⬇️
Instead of routing your trade through a liquidity pool, DLN uses its own liquidity network.
Here, assets get sent directly from the private market maker to you, so you get whatever asset you’ve requested, in seconds, at the best rates.
After, they receive the asset you traded out of on the source chain.
As long as your order is settled on DLN, you cover the gas costs the private market maker pays to unlock this asset.
Until now, 1 trade settled meant 1 lot of gas paid.
This is where batch unlocks come in💡
By bundling together multiple transactions, DLN now enables private market makers to accumulate up to 10 successfully fulfilled orders before unlocking on the source chain, effectively giving you an even better rate on your trades!

Wednesday, July 19th:
- We hosted a Solo Staker Event during where we announced the 2nd cohort of winners for Operation Solo Staker 🏆🙌 This is another step forward in our goal to empower individuals worldwide to run validator nodes & help decentralize the Ethereum network 🌎
Thursday, July 20th:
- Finally, the big finale to close out the week was the launch of @ether_fans Series 3 🚀🎉 We dropped 7k #NFTs and hosted a live Discord support AMA with the devs 👩💻🧑💻
