2 hours after i committed to attending base camp (and dealing w financial consequences later) i landed a freelance gig - only my second of 2025. since manifesting the trip to NY and on to vermont i’ve gotten 2 other gigs + might leave with 5 total under my belt. power of the universe is real & setting me up for a great winter season back in japan, but damn i really miss/love new york. but i would never in a million years ever spend winter here or anywhere on the east coast or near utah or colorado (: it’s volcano regions only for me for life - JP or PNW - there’s something about that energy and something about that powder.
