I don’t think there’s anything to wait for. I see that those who say it's early or it's even a bad idea at all, seem to think we want some memecoin-style airdrop to dump. I’m well aware of the value of airdrops from protocols of this scale, and personally, I'm not trying to boost my net worth with some low 4-fig gains. 😄 That’s really not the case. I’m not saying we need a TGE tomorrow, but Lens Protocol or Chain should share a clear roadmap of what they want to achieve in the coming months or years. (Saying Lens is just a framework and not responsible for solving our problems is a deflection. Other infra providers like Avail, Celestia, or L2 stacks like Optimism and zkSync all have decentralization plans, partnership strategies, and ways to support both developers and users. Lens should do the same. A $LENS token, especially with the VIP-like model I imagine, would perfectly support this direction. I don’t care much about timing, I just want to see some visible effort.) If I had to be specific: a usual TGE (with dropping a huge amount of tokens on the market to dump) feels too early and might never be the right fit. But an Initia-style airdrop that supports apps directly and users indirectly would already make sense and could drive real growth for both the Chain and the Protocol. So it is not too early for this imo.
