If you're the type to label whole groups or make blacklists of people with opposing political opinions, then I wouldn't want anything to do with you anyways. Maybe fear tactics work for impressionable, post-grad kids desperate for their first jobs or funding, but I will never live under that type of censorship. For anyone who might be fearful, it's a big, bad, diverse world out there. The world is full of all types of views and perspectives. Someone or whole groups of people can appreciate you for your perspective. If you think "oh but everyone thinks that, it's powerful people who own everything, that side has all the money" think again. You're being small minded and controlled. This is what they want you to think and it's primarily in the West. Trust me, no one in Japan cares, you'll be fine raising from Asia-based, Singapore funds, work in Dubai, there's large investors and developers out of Egypt, you'll find very tolerant and open minded people in Scandinavia. And heh, I'm from New York and it's the hub of people like that, it's already a hard place to "make it" but you could make it work, too! Don't be silenced. Don't worry.
