Recently, when you look at what has been happening in the Defi/crypto space particularly airdrop, you’ll notice that most projects have lost their power. Most projects used vanity metrics “community quests” to push unrealistic goals and after TGE, it becomes obvious that people aren’t using their products. Another angle is that of “community members” that push “inorganic” metrics like transactions count with the hope of getting “rewards”. We need to go back to the era where people use dapps because of its pure utilities. In a way, I’m glad that Lens is using $GHO (a stable asset) to reward active users. No manipulation but pure value.
