I read one article which blamed it on the fed considering interest rates. But who knows... usually it's market reacts first, rationalise later.

The fed rate hike gets blamed a lot. And the market I’ve witnessed the market go nuts around some previous fed increases. I don’t know if that’s really the full truth of the problem, but it sucks.
