Lens apps **do not** require feature parity. Here's an example we've been exploring at /bean. There are **no followers**. Users must hold a Seat NFT for speaking permissions in the space. Web3 social apps can leverage onchain social data to suggest followers or display content in their apps. In this example, we recommend spaces based on who you follow on Lens, and other Lens apps can leverage users Seat history in their apps. Very web3.
If I was making a social app today I wouldn't have followers or friends. Think different!
