Octant's Epoch Zero community-voted grant distribution program—which recently completed—is a significant milestone in supporting high-impact web three public goods projects.
- A remarkable total of null million will be allocated across 10 outstanding projects.We are both honored and fortunate to be one of the selected projects and will receive 250 Ether.
- The funds will be dedicated to building and funding public goods, with a 50/50 split between the Gitcoin Grants matching pool and the Gitcoin treasury.
- The matching pool funds will help further public goods projects in the web3 ecosystem, distributed through our regular Gitcoin Grants program, with the next iteration, GG18, happening in just two weeks. The Epoch Zero funds will play a vital role in this upcoming program.
- Meanwhile, 50% of the funds will bolster the Gitcoin treasury, supporting us in running grant rounds and building essential public goods like Allo Protocol, Grants Stack, and Gitcoin Passport.
We extend heartfelt gratitude to Octant for including us among the 10 recipients and to our wider community for supporting Gitcoin and voting for us. We vow to be responsible stewards of public goods with the received funds.
