- Elk rut in Jasper NP, Canada.
- amazing Aurora display
- Looking back at a couple trips to the Mara Triangle in Kenya, Africa. What a magical place. Nowhere else I’ve been has even come close and I cannot wait to be back.
- Baby Foxes at play. Wild fox kits are endlessly fun to watch as they play and roughhouse with each other, having fun while learning life skills.
- The exotic and unique colors of toucanet always fascinate me, and the Saffron Toucanet, without a doubt, stands out as a true gem. Its richly colored beak and completely unique yellowish tones turn it into a work of art in nature.
- My first encounter with an animal in the Atacama Desert was truly special: a vicuña by the roadside. It was incredible to see such a characteristic animal of this region up close.
- A burrowing owl in South Florida
- Scinax boulengeri long-snouted tree frog in Costa Rica
- Wild Gray Wolf pup and then a short clip of the pups playing together. Hope you enjoy!
- A great egret nest in Florida
- Moose in Grand Teton NP
- This series always “ruffles a few feathers” in the comments. But it’s nature. I was editing some old photos for an assignment and went back to one of my favorite peregrine falcon series.
- A bull moose in Grand Teton National Park
- A raccoon at sunset in Florida
- Urubu de cabeça vermelha.
EN - Turkey Vulture
- A toucan in the rainforest of Costa Rica.

- Haven’t found any fox dens this year so here’s one from a past year.
- An Arctic Fox nimbly making her way down a rocky cliff in Svalbard.
- Great Gray Owl Closeup - In my experience, Great Gray Owls are very difficult to find, given their amazing camouflage and silent habits. But once you find them they are quite tolerant of human observers as long as you are quiet and respectful not making fast motions. Sometimes, as they are hunting they will fly in and land thrillingly close to you and allowing macro shots like this one. Aren’t their facial feathers and large eyes amazing?
- Blue-breasted hummingbird. A hummingbird with incredible colors, it draws attention to its violet throat and the white stripe that runs down its chest to its belly, which sets it apart from its counterparts.EN - Sapphire-spangled EmeraldA hummingbird with stunning c

- An Elk calf gets a little clean up from mom.
- One of my beloved Washington State local birds: Anna’s Hummingbirds
- Northern Pygmy Owl in a spring rain shower 🌧️
- Wild young puma kitten in Patagonia. I enjoy watching baby animals so much! They are playful and full of life. This young puma’s mother was sleeping, but he was wide awake and batting at the branches of this bush, much like a house cat playing with a toy!
- Play Time! Red Fox Kits
- Northern Hawk Owl - fluffed up to stay warm on a frigid winter day.
- A little arctic fox in svalbard
- Northern Pygmy Owl Portrait

- Common Loon patiently incubating her eggs on a nest at a secluded lake.
- Giraffes what amazing creatures! Samburu, Kenya
- Incoming! Great Gray Owl on the wing. Unbaited and wild!
- Northern Hawkowl on the wing in a snow squall. Hawk Owls are daytime hunters, unlike many other more nocturnal owls. Hawk Owls use their acute vision as well as their hearing to locate and capture prey. This owl was a very successful hunter, finding two voles while we watched, despite the difficult weather conditions.
- Arctic Fox, still with her summer coat, before turning all white for winter.

-Known as the clowns of the sea, Atlantic Puffin’s numbers are declining rapidly, despite of the fact that they have a fairly large population right now. As a result, in 2015, the International Union for Conservation of Nature upgraded its status from "Least Concern (LC)" to "Vulnerable (VU)"

- Flamingo adults feed the chicks a secretion of the upper digestive tract referred to as 'milk', caused by the hormone prolactin, which both the male and female flamingos produce. Some fascinating facts about flamingo 'milk' is that it has 8-9% of protein and 15% fat, similar to mammal milk and also, the 'milk' is red in colour due to the pigment canthaxanthin and chick's bodies store this pigment in the liver, to be deposited in their adult feathers when they grow.
