- **LIP-4: Profile Guardian**
We're creating a proposal to add a safety layer into Lens Protocol profiles to help Lens users to protect against phishing scams.
NFT owners including Lens profiles have been recently targeted with phishing attempts. While it's disheartening to see people lose their NFTs or profiles, we want to be proactive and innovate on the safety standards for NFTs.
We are introducing Profile Guardian which disables certain critical actions such as approvals and transfers for Lens profiles. Profile Guardian is enabled by default and can be opted-out if profile owners want to move it to a new address.
Disabling it will activate a 7-day cooldown period. During the 7-day cooldown period, services such as Lens API can track and provide the data to clients, who can notify users that their profiles are in an unsafe state, and recommend actions to secure the profile.
We hope Profile Guardian inspires others to improve end-user security when interacting with NFTs, especially as more users onboard into the web3 space.

(if you can post something related to what you are interested in ... 🎇 -> People you start following might take a look at your profile and follow if they are interested in the content you share.) Find one great example at the end of the post.

(2) find your twitter contacts on lens: inlens.xyz/ (not everyone with a lens profile, active on twitter, is very active on lens (yet ;-)). Maybe consider connecting with new people, sharing interesting content on lens.)
(3) probably you read this post on @lenster.lens . If you are interested in lens mobile apps, @orbapp.lens and @buttrfly.lens are at the moment - imo - the most advanced general purpose lens mobile apps. One of the beautiful things regarding lens is that it doesn't matter which lens app you use, every lens app has access to the same content and social graph.
(4) what you share on lens is stored and publicly available for a very long time. Probably forever. You can hide posts, comments and mirrors. But that's a front-end feature, the data is still available and publicly accessible.
(5) "collects" are a very powerful concept, adding a NFT version of the post to your address (4th symbol below a post on @lenster.lens ). Collects can be monetised -> creators can use collect fees to earn money on lens.
**one more thing** :-) being active, commenting on posts and topics you are interested in goes a long way. Of course there is a chance that your posts will be discovered, commented and mirrored, but you increase the probability of being discovered dramatically with valuable comments. @jeanmi.lens increased his followers +5k within 39 days. How he did it? "be yourself, try to engage with people, sharing images seems to accelerate engagement/growth, people love to ‘GM'"
One more one more thing ;-) the latest notification update shows notifications for profiles one follows and a few other profiles only (if the filter isn’t deactivetd). -> at the time of writing it’s quite challenging to get attention, especially for new profiles. 2 approaches to get some visibility:

The little lens games intends to be fun (of course :-)) and requires to follow other lens profiles for 24/48 hours closely. -> your content will have at least some exposure to people beyond your followers. **[3]** consider joining communities on @diversehq.lens (e.g. you can post directly to the @mixtape.lens feed, be active in the #lensfit community or join c/food)

I just completed my first 5 day water/coffee fast. That's 120 hrs with 0 food or liquid calories.
I've experimented with different fasting protocols for several years after watching a documentary called **Eat, Fast, Live Longer** that presents compelling evidence about how the body goes into a state of self repair during prolonged caloric restrictions. You should check it out it's interesting.
I thought it was going to be difficult past the 3rd day mark as that was my previous longest fasting window. It really wasn't, but specifically the thing that stood out to me was the *clarity of mind* during the last 3 days. I had *tremendous focus* which honestly I felt was comparable to taking Modafinil. Ironically after starting to eat again my mind has fogged up in that usual coffee craving way 👎.
Super interesting experience. Elevated mood, paradoxically fairly energetic, and definitely increased mental acuity. So much so that on day 3 I decided to roughly visually document the process.
This is a visual diary of the key feelings etc. It's not super time accurate, I created it on a whim but check it out it's interesting.
