- this is a joke fyi frenly takeover bc @lens/pointless also dope. both have a purpose,
- DN-404/ERC-404 looks totally #pointless to me.
My view is that it's not suitable for an NFT collection with unique items. The reason is if the NFT gets burned because of a token transfer, and then you transfer the token back and a new NFT will be minted which is totally different.
Imagine if punks or BAYC used this, and people lost their original NFT if they transferred the associated token.
Moreover, it's not even suitable for fractionalising an NFT because of the mint/burn mechanism. I believe it is overhyped or maybe there is a great usecase for it that hasn't yet emerged 🤷♂️
