Dear Phaver Team,
I hope this message finds you well. I wanted to share my thoughts on the recent changes to the points earning system. While I appreciate the effort to improve the platform, I believe the current mechanism may be inadvertently favoring established accounts (Level 4 and above) at the expense of newer users (Level 1-3).
The issue:
- The new system seems to reward accounts with larger followings, regardless of their engagement levels.
- Level 1-3 users who actively post and interact on the app receive minimal points compared to those with bigger profiles.
- Inactive accounts can earn more points simply by phaving (staking) on other accounts without contributing meaningful content.
Proposed solutions:
1. Content-based rewards: Introduce a system that rewards users based on the quality and engagement generated by their posts, rather than just their account level or following.
2. Tiered rewards: Implement a tiered system where users can progress through levels based on their content quality, engagement, and consistency, ensuring that everyone has an equal opportunity to earn points. More points in the comments
