This song was such an outlet for me in a time where I felt taken for granted - a power house song for taking your power back

- What was your initial reaction to learning just how much goes into making a record?
Behind the Booth⏺️ ep. 1 ft. Javah drops next Saturday 4/07/2024 on my YouTube at noon.
I sat down and talked with Javah about his journey recording himself and how it’s progressed over the years. Great insight as to what he looks for in a producer & engineer + the setup(s) he’s used in the past and what he’s using now.
- haven’t worked in the same genre for more than 1-2 songs in a row for about the last 2 years now, and I can say it has done absolute wonders for my ear and skill set 🙏🏽 today we start with rock and end with funk. Should be a good day. Also sometimes my mix assistant is kinda lazy but I’m inclined to let it slide.
- Do you prefer recording yourself or with an engineer? I talked with Javah, a rapper I’ve been working with for a few years now and we had a great conversation about all the technical things that go into a record and how they help bring our creative ideas to life. Full conversation will be posted Saturday 4/13 on YouTube & here!
- Who are y’all’s biggest inspirations, musically speaking?

- Claimed my 'thank you' gift from @lens/bonsai to celebrate the fundraise! 🎉
- Made a quick breakdown of the vocal chain I used to mix @lens/mavi_taylor ‘s most recent release “Liquor”. My computer couldn’t handle playback & screen recording at the same time so I just walked you guys through my thought process.
Stream “Liquor” everywhere now.
- A little bit about the videos you’ll see from me on here. I’m an audio engineer & music producer and treat these videos almost as journals for myself. I have options to mint them them for a fee if you’d like to support me, or you can just soak up the knowledge for free. Entirely up to you! Thanks to everyone who’s minted one so far
- went snowboarding last week, completely forgot how quiet the mountains are compared to the rest of my life

- Hey guys this is my first post! Thank you to the lovely Mavi Taylor for putting me on to riff. I plan on uploading a LOT of these beat snippets plus some demos along the way.
this is an upbeat hiphop instrumental featuring bouncy, hard hitting drums, smooth guitar & horns and a vibe that doesn't dissapoint. Produced by myself, trevvybeats, & willcoplan.
