This is going to be a very emotional post from me. ๐ข
**TLDR:** *No, and I will revive it.*
Here's a little story about TeaParty ๐ต: ๐

TeaParty.life initially started as a pet project, all by myself, in April of last year, aiming to boost social engagement in the Web3 social space.

It began with the initial concept to prove the usefulness of enhancing social engagement, starting with Twitter. How it works is that I could use the TEA token (yes, a Web3 token) to boost my social engagement, such as likes, followers & retweets.

My first growth hack: when Lens launched in Web3 with grants, TeaParty received support. I leveraged this to amplify Lens's announcement about TeaParty. In short, it was a success, and users started pouring in. (We even have higher engage than Lenster!)

Not to boast, but @lens/teaparty is considered one of the top projects from back in those days. It was very happening at that time, and many users enjoyed the party, boosting engagement.

Now the death chasm ๐ starts to kick in. The business does not sustain, as every referral at that time required covering gas fees, not to mention my server costs and personal expenses.

What makes things worse is that there are many negatives coming from different directions, including how my family and friends perceive me.
Additionally, my finances can't sustain me during the building period, leading to a deterioration in my health and overall suffering.

It brings tears to my eyes when I look back at my journey over this 1.5+ years. ๐ข
2022
March: TeaParty is born
April ~ July: Rise of TeaParty
August: Slow death of TeaParty
2023 April: 1st attempt to revive
August: 2nd attempt to revive
Now: 3rd attempt to revive

This year, I started picking up jobs just to sustain and continue my life. However, I'm committed to @lens/teaparty for life. I will still be here for my community ๐ฅ and continue to build ๐ ๏ธ, no matter what it takes.

What's next for TeaParty is going to be exciting. In the coming days, I will be releasing a new Chrome tool to support better analytics and boost features for Lens users.

- Hey anon, what is your fav stack in @lens/lensprotocol ?
- Dear all, since the start of this year on Sept 1st, we initiated something called the "**Trending Leaderboard**".
However, the analytics raised a lot of doubts and questions that need to be addressed.
I hope this post can provide a satisfactory explanation:
**Purpose**:
This leaderboard was created to offer better visibility for profiles with followers at all levels.
**Explanation**:
This simply means that a profile with fewer followers could easily have higher engagement rates compared to a profile with more followers.
FYI, engagement rates are not an absolute standard that dictates how well a profile performs overall but serve as an indicator to discover the recent highly engaged post in relation to social reactions, post count, and follower ratios
**Formulation**:
The formula is not something new; we calculate this by using the engagement rate formula:
Engagement rate = (total number of likes + collects + mirrors + comments) * 100 / total number of posts / number of followers
