- When I got to my hometown last week, I knew there was an old guitar of my dad’s here. I had brought a new set of strings with me, intent on continuing with my practice during this visit.
What I did not know was how neglegted that poor guitar was. It needed much more than a change of strings. Thankfully my grandpa helped me clean it, as much as he could improvise with whatever we had around the house. After he got it in a bit better shape, I got the new strings on, tuned it, and it’s been quite lovely company over these past few days.

- This past weekend I released my first official music video on YouTube. You can find it here: https://youtu.be/vxyb5yxxlUc 🙂
I recorded the scenes with the phone when I was in New York a month ago. Then edited the whole thing on my own. Before doing this I didn’t quite think I’d be capable of producing a music video all by myself.
Now, I know it’s far from professional quality, but it’s not the worst thing either. i have the tendency to compare myself with top artists and feel bad that I can’t do as good of a job as they do. But a few months ago I noticed on the credits from one of Dua Lipa’s videos how big the team that worked on that production was. And I am sure that if I had a team of professionals working with me on all the things that I am doing, the results would be even etter. But I can’t afford thise kind of services, so meanwhile I am filming this thing on my own with the phone. 😬
So, bottom line, I am happy with what I made and I have learned bits and pieces in the process, which is nice. At the same time I do feel a bit lonely and would love to work more closely with other people on the stuff that I am making. 😊
That’s all for now. I had no idea what I was going to say when I started this post. Now we’ve found out, together. 😅
- How is everyone here?
I’ve been travelling for the past two weeks. One more week till I go back home now.
In the meantime I’ve been working on a few more covers and wondering what has been holding me back from adding more items into **The Making Of** collection.
At first I wanted to add a recording of The Loneliest after I got to play it a bit better from
beginning to end. Had the recording ever since I left home but didn’t post it. And then I started wondering if that’s really what I want to do or I will only include one clip from each song, from the very beginning of the learning journey for that song. With all the funny or not so funny mistakes that happen along the way. I feel more drawn towards that. 🙂
- No one will ever be more sleepy than a cat who has done nothing all day. ✌🏽🤣
- As an artist, I certainly feel a bit more hopeful seeing the developments around collectibles on @club/orb. But I also want to go beyond that. How can we best show up here to nurture a space of connection and actually get to know each other and build a lasting community?.
- imo for any artist, it's crucial to remember that the strength of your community doesn't lie in the number of followers but in the one of your supporters
An account with thousands of followers might seem impressive, but it's the one with fewer, more engaged supporters that truly thrives
These supporters do more than just follow; they interact, share, and often contribute to the artist's sustainability and growth
As artists, we should focus less on expanding our follower count and more on deepening connections with our supporters
After all, a small group of dedicated supporters can be more impactful than a large but passive audience🌹
- Shoutout to @lens/nilesh for collecting the first item in **The Making Of**series 🎶🎸❤️
Thank you so much for your support!!

- My little fur ball, Luna, whom I’ve learnt quite enjoys me singing and playing the guitar 🎶
- **The Making Of #1**
When I started learning guitar back in January, I shared a practice video on social media every day for a month. Then I toned it down. While I kept practicing every day, and kept sharing once in a while, I did not want it to become a chore.
There are days when I notice progress, and I feel happy and hopeful. Then there are days when I feel discouraged and struggle to believe that I will actually be able to learn how to play well. Sometimes I feel like I’m talented, sometimes I feel like I’m definitely not good enough, and often I just feel awfully tired and confused.
While I am far from playing guitar properly, thought I’d bring my practice over here and make a collection of it. Make space for the journey as it comes, and make something out of whatever I have available to me at this moment, while I keep learning how to better welcome and appreciate the imperfection.
So here is the first practice video which I would like to share with you. Last night I started learning The Loneliest from Måneskin, and Luna decided she really wanted to be a part of it. Turn the volume up towards the end, to hear her acknowledgement after my singing.🙂
**1/1 Single Edition**
- The funny thing is that at work, I am responsible for all the A/V tech. We’re talking video conferencing and office equipment in a corporate setting, but A/V nevertheless. And I appreciate how that connects symbolically into what I am doing as a musican 🙂
- My very first NFT is available to collect on https://www.sound.xyz/stillcrystal/the-end 🎶
Head over there to give it a listen, comment, share, collect a free copy or one of the limited editions, add to a playlist, etc.
I appreciate any and all support ❤️
- “The End” is a terribly sad story turned into my most favorite song that I have written so far. It explores loss and longing, despair and desolation, and the deep wound of abandonment that rejection can bring.
- starting a new series of fan-art of Lens ppl i follow holding a bonsai,
of course, always sharing profits with them (if there's any)
