Sherlock Holmes fan since '81 here!😊 The books first obviously, then mid-eighties, the Anime series by Miyazaki quickly followed by the Granada TV shows with, for me, the best Sherlock intrepretation ever by Jeremy Brett.😊 Finally, even if I was convinced that the 2010 TV shows would be reaaally bad, I loved the Benedict Cumberbatch Sherlock.😊 Special mention to the good Hound of the Baskervilles with Peter Cushing ('59) and to the Young Sherlock Holmes ('85) who, if it wasn't that great was a good entertainment for a kid in the end (even this days, I continue to remember the scene with the hallucinations).😅 So, yep, Detective Smurf in my pocket, happy with this pick!😊

So, if you don't know yet, sadly, the company who runs the Smurfs collection will shutdown at the end of the year.😢 But before this happens, they will fully decentralize the collection to insure its sustainability and there is already core members who have decided to handle the future of this collection and start to work on it. Obviously, this news has crashed the floor price (from 0.037 to 0.018) and this is why I make this post. So, not a financial advice, but a real collector one, if you like the Smurfs licence, it could be a good moment to pick one of them. The price is really low and, if you want my opinion on that, the perks from holding one could be enough for most of you to justify a buy. 1- It's a cool collectible to have if you like Smurfs, they are well designed, and even if the price goes lower, it could be the good moment to buy one because the gas fees are reasonable enough yet, so waiting more if you want one could be a "false good idea", price could go lower, but gas fees could go upper, so waiting could be not a so smart move. (if the price fall to 0.01/0.015 but the gas fees jump to 200 gwei, final price will be higher than now in the end) 2- They are on Phaver's list, and right now, get 6cred + 20 points for 0.018eth is, for what I see, the best deal in the list. (I will add to that, specially if you are a L2 who struggle to pass L3, just A Smurf and a Galxe passport and you're good to go) 3- The Sandbox has annonced they will do a special avatar soon (maybe for their 65th Anniversary Celebration event who will happen at the end of the year?) for Smurfs' holders based on their NFTs, so if you are a Sandbox user, or if you plan to become one, that's a nice perk (always cooler to have an avatar who is not one of the default's ones ^^) So, once again, not a financial advice (believe me on that, you don't want financial advice from me! 😅), but if you like those perks and/or like the licence, AND if you see that as an expenditure and not as an investment, now could be the moment to get one for a cheap price.😊 And if you want to pay us a visit, feel free to pass by: https://discord.gg/W7BCd28G

Yes, I'm back in the smurf's owners pool!🥳 For those who don't know, I messed up big time last week, I sold my smurf that I wasn't a big fan of the design to buy another one that I liked more, but the time the gas fees go down again at a reasonable price, the one I wanted to buy was sold. (Lucky is my middle name)😅 So I spent my entire week to try to find a new entry and I finally got one today!😊 Not on my top9, but I like it way more that the precedent one. On the negative side, I lost $30 in this "reroll", but that's the only negative point, all the rest is positive.😊 First, I like the character way more, he's an OG (brainy smurf) and I really like that he's the smart one but has kind of an idiotic smile on his face, and it's even funnier when we see Kong in the background who looks like is about to throw him a barrel right in his neck!😅 I like the clean background too, it's one of my favorites, juste simple black and grey, makes the character popup really good. I also like the monochrome appearance, the smurf is full grey/chrome, the wild kong is full orange, and the background is grey/black, so, for a random composition, it's a really good match.😊 And I like the wild Kong too (lowpoly is awesome), plus I really like when artists make collab', so cool again! Finally, the less important, I like the stats too and the serial number. (#888, don't know why, but a triple same digit makes me happy) So, yeah, happy with my purchase, my 1st fail transaction turned good in the end!😊 I think I will keep this one for quite some times.😊

With the support of his friends and the power of Tremere magic 💫, he diligently followed & solved riddles and clues, each serving as a small segment of the big puzzle. 🧩 The clues led him to a quiet corner of the metaverse, where the hidden voxel waited. It was just a little glowing cube 🧊, but it held all of Ogmor's secrets 🔑. When Smurf touched the voxel, the metaverse lit up, and he heard a voice say, "You've found the heart of Entanglement 💖." With a smile, Smurf realized Ogmor was the spirit of adventure itself and cherished the journey he had with his friends while exploring the metaverse. 🌐💙 #OgmorsChallenge #Entanglement #TheSandbox

Since I reviewed all of the 200 smurfs for the contest, I made my top 9. The top "OG" was easy to pick, it's just my 3 favorites characters. Interesting to see, as an adult, that my favorites ones were those with a major flaw (grumpy, clumbsy or sleepy) and 2 of them have been victims of the bzzz-fly event (Lazy has been bitten, and Grouchy clearly suffers of PTSD) But despite that, all three have a good heart and can be brave, love them. My Top 3 is the first column, love Boris Karloff as Frankenstein (and as The Mummy), and the design of the Cyberpunk smurf is just awesome! Also love the idea of the smurf who has is own mask, reminds me some actors who've done that on convention.😅 The sommelier smurf is in this top because there is no smurf with a baguette, so, the sommelier would be the frenchiest of the batch! 😅 I'll be curious to know what is your own top! 😊 If you don't want to bother to do a mockup, you can use mine, I've put each element on its own layer, and I made the frames as smart objects, so easy to activate/desactivate, fill, move, resize, etc. (basically, if you don't need something special, you just have to replace my smurfs by yours and it's done) The .psd is here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1ohvqIrpIMrTIHs_hPHFr7roSwji5mVPf I've put the fonts too.
