- The Enigma of Satoshi Nakamoto
Over a decade since Bitcoin was first introduced to the world by the mysterious figure known as Satoshi Nakamoto, the identity of its elusive creator remains unknown. In many ways, Satoshi epitomizes the decentralization and anonymity that are core principles of cryptocurrency. By stepping away from the project soon after launch, Satoshi ensured Bitcoin would not be reliant on any single person or entity.
Satoshi's Bitcoin whitepaper laid the conceptual groundwork for the first truly digital decentralized currency and an entirely new paradigm for peer-to-peer electronic transactions without an intermediary. But it was Satoshi's actual implementation and early development work that transformed these concepts into a functioning reality. Without Satoshi's technical genius and coding contributions in those early years, it's unclear if Bitcoin would have gained the traction necessary to survive.
Speculation around Satoshi's identity has run rampant over the years. Possible clues gleaned from writing style, forum posts or code have pointed fingers at everyone from cryptographic experts to reclusive geniuses. Yet in an ironic twist, Satoshi himself—for all the transparency brought to financial systems—remains one of the last true anonymous figures in the digital age. The mystery adds to Satoshi's almost mythic status as the protocol's founding figure.
While we may never know Satoshi's true identity, the legacy of work left behind through Bitcoin's open source code will undoubtedly continue shaping our increasingly digital world for decades to come. It is a fitting testament that the man, or group, who started it all believed so firmly in empowering individuals through technology above all else. The spirit of decentralization lives on through Bitcoin and the movement Satoshi sparked over a decade ago.
- so far I've collected most of my NFTs with my main wallet; essentially it's a hot wallet. in the past, I have sent some NFTs to my Ledger but have neglected this more or less. so there is an endless number of NFTs on my hot wallet.
am I right that it's still not possible to secure a hot wallet later on? what would be the best and most cost-effective way to transfer a large number of items to another wallet? what was a good way to collect NFTs in the future (minting with hot wallet and immediately sending the items to the Ledger?).
oh, and my ENS and Lens profile are on that wallet as well...
embarrassing, that's newbie stuff.

- gm! Publius update!
The tokenURI function now spits out accurate and complete JSON! So, now I just need to get it base64 encoded to make it a URI, then I can start working on security and more testing!
