Today I have made an important decision in my life 📢
I quit my job today and going to focus full-time on maintaining the first-ever open-source frontend @lenster.lens 🌸 powered by @lensprotocol 🌿.
Building social media was my dream since 10th grade, I built more than 4 social media in public but all failed, Lenster is my 5th one and it’s going crazy ⚡️.
I believe building in public is key 🔑 to the success of a product.
We have a lot of items queued up in the roadmap, be excited about it 🕺
**Collect this post for 2 WMATIC and support Lenster’s development 🙏**

- Growing up on internet I witnessed web going from explore and read to create, connect and share. It was so efficient disruption that it made almost every online user into a social media user. As a consequence the internet was built and owned by few companies, the big tech. Social media users are now feeding the platforms with data, social capital and identity. They are the reason these platforms grew into existence. This created unfair dynamics between the users and the platforms. Users do not have a say how the platforms should be operated, which has lead into unhealthy and unfair internet. We all need our own self sovereign social media. A network which gives the power back to the users. The users are the owners of their social capital. No one should be able to take that away from you. You own your voice.
- ⭐️ Hazelnut Chocolate Banana Bread with Golden Sugar Crust ✨ Your EASY Go To, LIFETIME Recipe ⭐️
My first post to Lenstube. Taken from my Youtube channel so forgive any cross-references, but looking forward to creating Lens specific content in the future 🎉
A quick video for a bit of weekend baking inspo for those cold and rainy days or just when you want the best banana bread you've ever tasted!
⬇️⬇️⬇️ RECIPE BELOW ⬇️⬇️⬇️
Delicious, indulgent hazelnut chocolate banana bread, topped with a chewy caramelised golden sugar crust. So easy and fail-proof, this will be the banana bread recipe you will return to every time.
Thanks for watching!
All My Love, Zoë 😘
Recipe
115 g unsalted butter, softened
150 g golden sugar, plus 2 Tbsp
300 g bananas very ripe, in pieces (approx. 3 bananas)
2 medium eggs
80 g Greek yoghurt
1 tsp vanilla extract
250 g plain flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp ground cinnamon
¼ tsp fine sea salt
2/3 jar of hazelnut chocolate spread
1. Preheat oven to 180°C and line a loaf tin with baking paper.
2. Place butter and sugar in a mixing bowl and beat together
3. Add bananas, eggs, yoghurt and vanilla to the mixing bowl and mix together with butter & sugar mix
4. Add flour, baking soda, cinnamon, and salt to the mixing bowl and mix together well to form a thick batter
5. Pour half mixture into the prepared loaf tin and add 1/3 of the chocolate spread and swirl through
6. Pour remaining mixture and add remaining chocolate spread and swirl through
7. Sprinkle sugar over the top
8. Bake for 50-60 minutes until a skewer inserted into the cake section (i.e. not chocolate spread) comes out clean. I baked mine for 55mins but all ovens vary. Cover with foil if needed to prevent top from browning too much.
9. Allow to cool in tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
10. Serve in slices, keeping any leftovers in an airtight container or freeze.

- My latest fascination has been the observation that users in Lens are focusing on building relationships instead of being transactional. At yesterdays get together one attendee mentioned that because of the DMs he could now continue discussions with people he met on Lens and met some of them IRL. Its an open world 🌎 here 🌱
