This is something we are trying to solve at Atomic Form. If you hash the media, you can then mint, store, index, and serve all sorts of metadata against that primary key. In short, web3 opens the door for additional attribution/metadata of media to solve this very thing!
Question for Crypto Twitter Love all the CC0 NFT projects, but some orgs still need to assume "All Rights Reserved" for legal reasons because there is no onchain verification. Would artists/marketplaces be willing to sign/store a message onchain to attest to CC0 copyright?
