- After seeing at ETHDenver so much exciting development, it changed what I expect from the future. Here's what I feel like the future of Ethereum as an end user looks like.
First, if you're not already paid in USDC, you interact with Coinbase. Purchases immediately go to a non-custodial wallet on Base.
Fees are a thing of the past. Transacting on Base, even with cheap fees post 4844, will be entirely free with a set of core defi as Base acts as a paymasters, covering the fees.
With atomic composability, bridging is abstracted away; you'll never be bothered as to what roll-up the app is on.
All this is done on your phone, which has native integration with the wallet. Defi apps are native phone apps. Swapping chain is done via a toggle on the phone's notification pane. Your private key is secured with hardware encryption.
Swapping or other payments are always done in 1 transaction signature. No more token approvals. Account abstraction means your account is easily recoverable.
Payments are one via paying invoices sent, rather than blindly sending an amount and hoping it's recognized for the exchange of goods or services.
What else should I add?
- What do I need to see at ETH Denver?
- Yolo I'm going to ETH Denver, who else?
