- So I opened my orb app and there was a greyed out popup to claim my bonsai, but I couldn't do anything. I quit the app and updated to latest version from the app store, and now there's no popup at all. Anyone have any idea on this?

- Sharing a new mix recorded by a couple friends and I, full of fresh upfront tech-house bangers! Recorded very late at night at an AirBNB during a boys fishing trip weekend, the theme of the mix takes us back to the early 2000s, and the blurry mornings spent together after going to raves 😵💫

- There are some tunes that are absolutely timeless, and define a generation of electronic music. This song is one of them. Nothing screams out late 90s club tunes like Dreamer. Always guaranteed to have the dance floor absolutely pumping, even almost 30 years later!

- Some beautiful Lens themed LoFi to ease you into the working week
- Back in the late 90's/early 2000s I was a huge fan of the emerging genre of UK Garage. We would blast it loud at house parties, while cruising in cars, and vibe to it at clubs where it was often played early in the night. With its deep basslines and '2-Step' beat, it was the soundtrack to summer for so many teens like myself.
This track is one of my favourites from those summer nights in 2000/2001, it perfectly captures the vibe of the UK Garage scene back in those days.

- The year is 2001. You're heading out on NYE to 'Adrenalin', an event taking place at a rave club called 'Rush'. You get there and the place is rammed full of punters, all having a great time and dancing to the high energy techno beats. The DJs are playing a live techno set with synths. You somehow manage to wiggle your way towards the middle of the dance floor, where you'll stay for the next few hours dancing the night away. Life is good

- Blink 182 with Tom Delonge back in the band playing 'Miss You' at Coachella brings such a big smile to my face. Especially after everything they've been through over the years. Can't wait for the new album https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7pYqbVztRtk

- New vocal house classics mix recorded. All the best vocal and soulful tunes from the heydey of house music. Publishing soon!
- Isn't it funny how you could hear something and not be too into it, then years down the line as your ears and tastes change you not only start to dig it, but get absolutely obsessed with everything to do with the band/artist. This is me atm with 'Modern Baseball', an epic emo/indie rock band from the Midwest. They released 3 ridiculously good albums, plus a bunch of EPs before they disbanded a few years ago. I've been listening to all their stuff on repeat for the past week now.
Give them a listen if you like catchy rock music with introspective and emotionally charged lyrics that deal with themes of growing up, relationships, and struggles of transitioning into adulthood

- While living & working in Finland & Sweden for about 18 months during 2011-2013, I got heavily into the Deep House music being produced in those Nordic countries. The harsh, cold climate dominates most the calendar year, and I came to realize that living in a cold, snow filled Scandinavian landscape has a heavy influence on the music being produced there.
Nordic or Scandinavian Deep House music can be described as slightly more restrained compared to regular house music, something you can play in the background at a dinner party without it being too heavy, but also something you can play in a cocktail bar and get people dancing to. Other than the more restrained tempo and baselines, it typically comprises of warm, shimmering synths, ethereal jazz chords, and smooth silky vocals.
Listening to this music definitely invokes feelings of nostalgia, and takes me back to those cold wintery days and nights walking through the snow filled streets of Helsinki and Stockholm, or the glistening white tree filled countryside of northern Finland while in search of the northern lights. I plan on making a mix of this type of music soon!

- Trance is a genre that has been around for almost 25 years, but has never really been mainstream. With a a solid 4x4 beat, uplifting and ethereal riffs, and warm vocals, it's the perfect genre to spin late at night at raves and clubs.
Every time I listen to this track, it brings back amazing memories from years ago. Nights spent dancing in a random warehouse with lasers beaming everywhere. Night’s spent dancing without a care in the world at an outdoor rave in some random field or tunnel under a freeway. The adventures you take in the middle of the night out to random places to meet random people. Night’s spent in the smoking area making new best friends with strangers, and mornings spent at random houses and afterparties, as you all party through to the next day and refuse to let the good times end

- Myself & 2 friends recorded a new tech-house mix while we were away for the weekend for a fishing trip (of course we had to take the decks and full setup). The name of the mix is '**Looking for Drugs**', due to that subject being a common theme in a few of the tracks (and the intro), Enjoy!

- "Not everyone understands House Music. It’s a spiritual thing, a body thing, a soul thing". This statement couldn't be more true. To someone who doesn't appreciate it, they'll think of house music as just ‘repetitive dance music' with a 4x4 beat. But it's so much more. House music is a feeling. It’s a vibe, to make you feel something positive, to make you want to dance, to lift your spirits. House music always brings the good vibes!
House music evokes unbridled joy and enjoyment, whether you're bobbing your head away to a deep house track in your headphones as you work on your computer, or sweating it up as you dance in the middle of a dark, crowded nightclub dance-floor to a big-room vocal house monster…house music is, and forever will be, a feeling.
In the next couple weeks I’ll be uploading a new mix to my SoundCloud of all my favourite classic vocal house tunes, inspired by the hundreds of hours I’ve spent on the dancefloor over the past couple decades listening, dancing to and enjoying house music. In the meantime, here’s a very special tune from the upcoming mix. This was actually the very first track I heard in a nightclub as I walked into one for the very first time back in 1999 (I was very underage, but back then it wasn't a big deal). Hearing this being played, combined with the visuals & vibe of the pumping nightclub blew my mind! Enjoy

- The power of music to change your mood, invoke nostalgia and all kinds of other feelings and memories is unparalleled. LoFi is a relatively new genre of music I’ve gotten into the past few years, and remains a regular part of my playlist while working, relaxing or going to sleep.
There's something about the downtempo, warm music combined with steady hip-hop beats, and random samples that acts as a perfect mix of sounds to relax the body, clear the mind and forget about the crazy world going on around you
Here’s a very special example from my personal playlist:

- Have been falling in love again with late 90's/early 00s deep/atmospheric Drum N Bass. There's something intoxicating about the atmosphere in these tracks, listening to them takes your mind on a journey to off-world places and hidden paradises.
