- gm gm! I want to introduce Octant, a project developed by the Golem Foundation. We just launched our app (octant.app) that focuses on exploring decentralized governance and funding of public goods via the returns of staking 100,000 ETH. You can read about the setup here: docs.octant.app.
We're here on Lens to connect with like-minded individuals and organizations who are passionate about the future of decentralized systems. We are deeply interested in the mechanics of voter engagement, user control, and funding what matters. Our platform allows you to lock GLM tokens, participate in governance, and earn ETH rewards.
This is a community first project, where input on the projects that should be funded and the types of governance experiments we should run next will be steered by community decision making. These discussions are already taking place in our discord: discord.gg/octant
What's next? Epoch 1, our first funding window takes place in October. And we plan to add a few more projects to be eligible, which the community will vote on Snapshot very soon. If you have a public good project you're interested in supporting, or ideas around governance, let's explore these awesome ideas together!
