The collapse of Silicon Valley Bank (SVB) has led to a bank run and a halt on all withdrawals.USDC, a stable coin,with all reserves backed 1:1 that are meant to be safe, low-risk pegged with a real-world US dollars just announced approximately $3.3bn of their total reserves are held in SVB.
The situation is unfolding in real-time. USDC is currently priced at $0.88-$0.92, leading to panic among Investors.
A bailout solution might occur, which could help in covering all customer deposits and eventually getting all $3.3bn from SVB but who knows when that will happen?
It is normal to feel anxious or concerned during times of financial uncertainty;
1. Remember that crises are temporary and will pass.
2. Avoid obsessively checking news or social media.
