- Recently, I've developed a passion for antiques. I like the idea that these objects have a history.
The book dates from 1908 and the camera from the 1940s.
If only the traceability brought by blockchain had been common to our everyday objects for that long, I could have known the history of these objects.
- Hi! Iβm just starting to learn Cairo. Is there #caironautes here? π
- Minted this free collectible in celebration of @orbapp.lens funding!

- A couple weeks ago, I've finished a side Web 3 project. With this project, you can create, manage and join voting sessions on Polygon Mumbai, Avalanche Fuji or on a localhost blockchain.
This project is using EIP-1167, Upgradeable and Pausable smart contracts.
If you want to take a look at this project and give me a feedback, here is the link to the demo: https://my-smartvote.vercel.app/
And here is the Github repo: https://github.com/NicolasMilliard/SmartVote
- **Optimize your #solidity loop in 4 steps!**
Loop through an array in Solidity can be expensive. With a few adjustments, you can save a significant amount of gas.
#ethereum #blockchain #developer #web3
1. Caching the array length can save 3 to 100 gas per iteration (regarding where the array is store). If your loop doesnβt change the length of the array, you should cache the array length before your loop.
2. Don't explicitly initialize variables with default values. For looping or for something else, there is no need to initialize variables with default values, except to waste gas.
3. Unchecked i to save up to 40 gas per iteration. There is no need to check for overflow because your array length canβt be greater than 2**256 - 1. Theoretical, maximum value of i is 2**256 - 2.
4. ++i costs less gas compared to i++. Pre-increment is cheaper than post-increment. You can save about 5 gas per iteration.
I hope you find this useful!
- I'm very proud to share with you my Alyra certification (the french blockchain school), as a **Blockchain Developer** π₯³
So I announce you I'm currently searching a job as a Blockchain Developer. I'm a **5+ years experienced Full Stack Developer**.
