- There's no better place to be than home.🙄 Yesterday, a cleaner from Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport stole my computer. But it's not so easy to rob me 😈😤
[Go back in time]🛬
9:20 AM: My plane is about to land, so I place my computer under the seat in front as instructed by the crew.
10:35 AM: I retrieve my luggage, but the process is delayed due to lengthy border control and a crowded arrivals area, causing my suitcase to arrive later than expected.
11:10 AM: 🚨On my drive home, I realize I forgot my computer. Returning to the airport, "Find My Mac" shows my MacBook at an unusual location in Terminal 1. While I'm filing a claim, my MacBook's location switches to Terminal 3 👻
Despite contacting the airport personnel, when they call the cleaning team, they report finding only headphones left on my flight and no computer. The Turkish Airlines manager is also unable to explain the building where my MacBook was pinging from.
So, I decide to investigate on my own.💪🕵️♂️
Moving towards Terminal 3, a new ping shows the same location.
Upon arriving, it appears the location is in the arrivals area, which also includes three buildings outside. After convincing the border police, I gain access to this restricted area of the airport. As I approach, the ping narrows to a 10-meter radius around a building, expectedly where the cleaning team's office is located.
With the assistance of a police officer and a representative from the cleaning company, we search the office building 🔍. The MacBook ping📍, but unfortunately, we cannot find it (the phone's battery died) 😬.
When we return with a charged battery, there are no new pings.
I didn't recover my MacBook, but I hope I at least scared the thief enough to make them think twice before stealing again. 🔥

- 🚨REQUESTING SUPPORT FOR ONBOARDING MY STUDENTS🚨
In the process of onboarding Donovan, the boy who opens the video that got this all started (see pinned). I’ve onboarded @lens/derek_ who’s already dropped his 1st track here as well. There will be more.
I know they could sign up for @lens/orb w an email but I want them to understand crypto & true ownership over their assets & revenue stream so I’m having them make crypto wallets.
Each mint provides funding for the 8 matic I've been sending them it costs to buy their names. I’m sending them 10.
Thank you all for the support so far🙏🏼

- My friend just lost access to his Twitter account due to a poor user interface and an app flaw that accepted a date of birth suggesting the user is under 1 year old. Twitter, if you encounter a baby who is under 1 year old yet capable of writing and posting, you should onboard them instead of banning them.
Should I help my friend get started on Lens?

- A Quick Take on the EIP-4804 Workshop with Qi Zhou
Today, I joined Qi Zhou’s workshop on EIP-4804. The session highlighted how this standard simplifies accessing data directly from URLs, enhancing compatibility with Web2 websites.
Notably, it can attract more developers into the blockchain ecosystem by facilitating app development with less effort.
A potential game-changer (not included in this EIP) is the ability to create "post" links for transactions without needing additional libraries on websites.
Thanks to The Mū for this opportunity.
- 📍**Registan Square Samarkand, Uzbekistan** 🇺🇿
Can you believe that human hands created something like this?
I can't either. And not just 100 or 200 years ago, but 600 years ago! Registan, the main square in the old part of Samarkand, is considered by many to be the most beautiful square in the world, and based on my experience so far, I agree. What sets it apart from most others is that there's an entrance fee (around €4), which I support; I'm glad if the ticket money goes towards its preservation.
At first glance, you might think the square is surrounded by three mosques, but they were actually madrasahs, or Islamic schools. Their names are Ulugh Beg, Sher-Dor, and Tilya-Kori. At that time, they were very advanced. They taught mathematics, philosophy, astronomy, discussed geography, and timekeeping...
People used to gather on the square to hear announcements from the rulers of the time, but also to witness public executions.
The architecture of Registan reminds me of the buildings I visited last year during my trip to Iran, which is not surprising, as it's all part of the Persian heritage. Even the name Registan comes from the Persian language, and its literal translation would be sandy or desert place because before its construction, all of this was covered in sand.
Today, Registan is the most visited tourist attraction in Uzbekistan, but we were lucky, and it wasn't too crowded. If you want to completely avoid people, it's recommended to come just before opening, around 8 in the morning. That's when the light is best for photography (by 2 pm, there were already too many shadows + the sun was too strong), and I believe such a place is experienced in a special way when you're alone.
A recommendation for a cafe with a view of the entire square (6th photo), Emirhan Restaurant; prices are higher than in other restaurants, but here you're paying for the view (when I say higher, it's still 30% cheaper than the average restaurant in capital Europe city). You can have coffee within the square itself when you enter the madrasahs; souvenir shops are on the ground floor, and cafes are on the upper floor (the video).
Expect more stories about Registan because we didn't move from here all day 😁☀️💃🏽
- Great I made a mistake and I sent 750 $BONSAI to $BONSAI contract address.... It was a long day... I am tired and copy paste may be a difficult action 😭🙃🫠

Paris in black and red ❤️🖤
I took my return ticket from Paris for the next day because who wouldn't want to take advantage of strolling through its streets a bit more. I'm leaving you with some new locations to visit in Paris, good food, and photogenic buildings 👇🏽
🇫🇷 Rue Chambriges (1st photo)
🇫🇷 Restaurant Chez Francis, with a view of the Eiffel Tower from its garden, where it's hard to decide whether the exterior or interior is more beautiful. The prices are quite high, so expect to spend 40+ euros for a meal + drink, but in my opinion, it's worth it 👌🏽
🇫🇷 Pont de l'Alma, the bridge leading from the restaurant to the Eiffel Tower
🇫🇷 Cathédrale de la Sainte-Trinité, a Russian Orthodox church located towards the end of the bridge, entrance is free, and the domes in combination with the Eiffel Tower (10th photo) 😍
- What makes Lens truly amazing is the community. I've met so many builders, creators, users, and supporters during the Lens journey, and one common DNA is that everyone wants to see onchain social adoption and are supporting each other with guidance, discussions and collects. Truly blessed for what we have.
