- I took a stab at creating a tool to help discover new Lens users and content: https://predictcrypto.shinyapps.io/content-discovery/
First, the application figures out what accounts you have interacted with the most. Then it uses that list and finds what accounts they have interacted with the most themselves which you do not follow, and shows you content you haven't interacted with by those users. So basically taking users who's content you like, and using their engagement as a guide to find new content you may find interesting.
The app will also take all of those posts, and run them through GPT-4 to provide you a summary of the most noteworthy posts from the list (see example in video).
I may experiment with different alternatives and customizable algorithms for timelines, I think it's a pretty interesting area.
- Releasing a new tool to summarize your social media timeline 🎉 https://predictcrypto.shinyapps.io/timeline-summary/
This one has been a long time suggestion by @nader.lens as well as one of the suggested ideas for the Tokyo hackathon, but I haven't seen one yet so I made it.
Please consider collecting to offset some of the costs of developing, running, and maintaining these tools 🙏 25% goes to Nader since it was his idea 😊
Please watch the video example on how to use this. You can choose between summarizing the most popular posts by people you follow over a period of time, or their most recent posts. There is text-to-speech that reads you out the social media summary. There are better sounding ones, but they cost more and I think it sounds pretty good.

- **Hey anon, we’re excited to drop 🌿Wagame $LENS cheat sheet 🤫👇 and with this occasion**
**we’ll give away 1 KoruDAO NFT ($285 on OS) - to enter #LMCC (paid collect 2,85 WMATIC)**
You’ve probably seen countless speculations about “guaranteed” airdrop from Lens - we have come to the conclusion that most likely none of these speculations will end up to be true, our evidence points to something more nuanced than these.
Many assume @lensprotocol is just following the usual airdrop blueprint and will reward anyone who made a couple of posts and has a 2 digit follower count. This narrative has been pushed on tweetr by threadoors to farm engagement - read on to learn what our research revealed **👇**
1️⃣ Lens target business model
2️⃣ Stani’s views on airdrops
3️⃣ Where Lens currently is as a project
Now let’s review each 🔎
**1️⃣ Lens target business model**
If you were at Lens 1st Twitter Spaces last yr you’d notice that the entire chat was about artists + music NFTs. @stani.lens keeps on posting about the same & even reached out to some rappers. He also hired ex-TikTok staff - app known for creative content
Use Lens advanced post search tool by @rickydata.lens and see how often Stani posts about this:
‘Music’ 👉46 posts
‘Rap’ 👉27 posts
..and so on
https://lenster.xyz/posts/0x0102cc-0x01a9
🧠 Conclusion: Lens is targeting indie creatives and wants them to be posting their content on Lens. You, random degen, is not their top priority as poster right now, sorry 🥲. You’re still wanted on Lens, but mainly as collector of their posts
Why target creatives?
Because artists can sell their art as NFTs on Lens and Lens can get a cut from these sales. This is a potential source of revenue that makes their business model sustainable over the long run
Also, if everyone starts buying & selling each others’ posts, it’ll make use of Lens’ key feature - you own your data and are free to monetise it. See the statements made in their Open Letter
Lens = social content marketplace
**2️⃣ Stani’s views on airdrops**
Stani is known as someone who doesn’t like to do airdrops. We think he means “standard” airdrops here that just reward every participant. But he clearly understands the pitfalls of just dropping a token to everyone who interacted with the platform.
🧠 Conclusion: content that adds value > random posts to game the system in the hopes of airdrop
Simply posting stuff on Lens that doesn’t generate any traction (non-viral content) and doesn’t add much value is unlikely to be determining factor imo
Still, Stani is Web3 native & understands that not rewarding early supporters is a lost game, especially for a project that requires social support. We may see some rewards for being early user, we just think that it’s unlikely the MAIN criteria
**3️⃣ Where Lens currently is as a project**
Based on the same Open Letter, Stani has big plans for Lens to challenge Web2 social media giants. If Lens is to take on TikTok & Twitter, it needs many more users than just Web3 natives. They need to reach ‘normies’
https://www.lens.xyz/letter
But right now there’s only 88k Lens handles with a post. Hard to say how many of these are Sybils. Compare this to Twitter and TikTok user base and global reach. We’re still early and normies aren’t here yet
https://dune.com/gm365/lens
🧠 Speculation: expect some creative way to incentivise normies to join Lens. $LENS content monetisation (social mining?). Vampire airdrop targeting top creators on YouTube, TikTok etc? Wouldn’t that be crazy & generate big mainstream buzz?
So what MIGHT happen, based on the above?
🌿 If there’s airdrop, simply minting Lens handle and sitting on it won’t do. This is not ENS
🌿 Creators that managed to generate a following and sales via collects (+those that collected their NFTs) might stand higher chance of rewards
🌿 Buildors (Lenster, Orb, Lenstube etc) might also get allocation just like we have seen with Arbitrum and Optimism Stack. It could be up to the projects then how to use this allocation - some might choose to reward past users, some might choose to do incentives
Other things that Lens might consider in future:
🌿 Introduce monetisation where the more engagement your post gets (via paid collects for example), the more $LENS you get. Similar to liquidity mining but on a social media app. Social mining? Think monetisation on YouTube
Other things that Lens might consider in future:
🌿 As mentioned above - vampire airdrop to creatives with a following on current Web2 social media. They would then have to shift to Web3 if they want to claim their tokens. Would be a big onboarding event for their followers too
Gaming the criteria will be almost impossible, abuse is avoided thanks to @sismo zkdrop - to get an idea how it could look like, check out Sismo Ethereum Influencer ZK-badge:
https://app.sismo.io/twitter-ethereum-influencers
🌿 Being early supporter might still play a role.
But quality posts > quantity, plus focusing on what Lens team is focusing on atm (supporting creatives by collecting their paid posts) might be a better alpha play. So create good paid content or collect it from others
**What action to take if you have no coding skills and aren’t a creative talent?**
🌿 be consistent: try to switch to Lens protocol as your preferred social media platform, interact with other active users daily
Stay tuned, we will drop more opportunities for our subscribers to actively interact on Lens protocol in a fun way - promised!
@punkess.lens has got you covered with the most extensive resource on how to get started on Lens:
https://lenster.xyz/posts/0x0f85-0x1452
🌿 become a collector: most paid collects are fairly cheap <10 WMATIC, a good start is to collect this post! Don’t miss this opportunity, we’ll give away our KoruDAO NFT to 1 lucky collector! #LMMC this post to enter the fair raffle via @lensdropxyz.lens 👇
@korudao.lens is the first DAO owned Lens account, the 282 KoruDAO NFT holders are able to post on Lens protocol from a 10k subs account. The projects was started by the OG’s from @gelato.lens and is currently in the process of finding a consensus between DAO members (=NFT holders) to provide the most value to the DAO over short time goals from individual members. An interesting experiment to say the least and hence the NFTs floorprice on OS is currently at $285.

- 🚨🚨 ATTENTION PLS 🚨🚨
Hey gm gm Frens! 💜 How's going Monday? 👀 We've some news for you.. 👇🏻
Lens rolled out a new AI-based tool to detect bot accounts last week and any accounts the new system flags will no longer have their gas fees covered by Lens, which also means posting through Phaver will fail as we use the Lens API. If you get an error message when trying to make a Lens post via Phaver, you can do the following:
- Try making a post in Lenster, if it requires you to pay your own gas fees for posting your profile is likely on this restriction list.
- Fill this form https://forms.gle/J7PE6etTFxoYRJzTA and our team will investigate your profile. Please note that things that cause a profile to be considered as “low quality” may include e.g: posting a very high volume of posts every day, making a lot of single word comments or posts, following or liking everything and everyone or other actions that are not adding real value to others.
- If your profile does not fill the above “low quality” criteria we will submit it to Lens for a new review and Lens will reconsider removing the restrictions.
- In the meanwhile anyone can make Lens posts on Lenster by paying the gas fee and signing each post, while on Phaver you can make Phaver posts by removing the green Lens-toggle when posting.

Finally, the mirrors are back! In case you didn't understand what happened, let me explain a bit. Apparently, there were many bots using the mirror 👀 and two weeks ago, it reached a point where it congested the network, and we couldn't publish, make collect, or mirrors. Now it seems to have been fixed, and applications that have the dispatcher activated (which basically means that Lens pays the gas for the transactions) are finally back.
Since we're talking about the dispatcher, Lens released an update with this functionality. Now only high-value accounts will have free transactions, and low-value accounts will have to pay for the gas of all their transactions, such as posts, comments, mirrors, etc. Try making a mirror of this post and see if it charges you or not 👀.
And the last Lens news is that they implemented a filter for notifications. Now, only the most important ones should reach you. I really want to see which notifications you guys get. How has it worked for you? Remember that in some apps like Lenster, you can disable it if you want.
Now let's move on to Wav3s news. In case you didn't notice, the mobile version is now 100% functional, along with Wallet Connect. We also took advantage of the time when the mirror wasn't available to keep improving the application. Now it works pretty well, and we fixed all the bugs we had. So go ahead and make a Wav3 🌊.
A couple of weeks ago, Messari published an article analyzing the Lens protocol. It revealed some interesting facts, such as Wav3s being the fourth most popular application of the Lens protocol in February and March, with a staggering 450% growth, making it the fastest growing app during that period. The article also showed that interactions on the platform increased significantly. Between January and February, the number of posts doubled, comments increased 5x, and mirrors increased 10x! Is it just a coincidence? I don't think so.
And since we're talking about ourselves, we're still raising investment, and we're allocating a percentage so that our beautiful community can invest from 200 Matic. We're doing this on a platform called Syndicate, so if you're looking to invest in the fastest-growing app, now is your chance. In a little while, we'll be doing a Twitter Space to explain a bit better.

- **Guide to Polygon NFTs**
With a string of a-list partners and an ever-expanding ecosystem, Polygon is a network that’s worth paying attention to. However, Polygon NFTs are relatively lesser-known, perhaps because many wallets don’t fully support them.
In this post, we explore Polygon NFT marketplaces and top NFT collections.
📈 **Polygon NFT marketplaces**
Many NFT marketplaces support Polygon — below are the leading ones in terms of volume.
**1. OpenSea**
The best-known NFT marketplace, @opensea.lens added Polygon in August 2022. Despite lots of competition, OpenSea has the largest trading volumes for Polygon NFTs.
Besides trading, OpenSea also lets anyone easily create Polygon NFTs with “lazy minting”. With this method, no gas is paid until the NFT is sold.
**2. MagicEden**
Originally focused on Solana, MagicEden has grown into a cross-chain NFT giant. The marketplace added support for Polygon in November 2022.
MagicEden also has lots of tools to help creators successfully sell NFTs. This includes whitelists, launchpads, and auctions. This isn’t open to all, and there is a vetting process for creators to ensure quality.
**3. Dew**
Currently in invite-only, Dew.gg is a dedicated Polygon NFT marketplace aggregator tailored for pro traders on the Polygon network. Despite still not being fully open, Dew has been steadily gaining trading volumes.
Dew offers features that help traders, such as fast listing updates, floor sweeping, and advanced charts. To get access to Dew, you need an invite from one of the existing users (each user gets 5 invites).
🔍 **Polygon NFT collections**
While Polygon has lots of run-of-the-mill PFP collections, it’s also home to some of the most interesting NFT experiments.
**1. Y00ts**
Launched in September 2022 on Solana, y00ts is a generative art project with 15,000 NFTs.
The project made headlines when De Labs, the company behind y00ts, got a $3 million grant from Polygon to move the collection from Solana to the Polygon blockchain. The transfer started in March, and now over 12k NFTs are on Polygon. With a 2 ETH floor, it’s currently the top collection on Polygon.
**2. Lens profiles**
@lensprotocol handles are a hot commodity — still, only whitelisted addresses can mint the handle.
While mining is free, the floor price is over $200. The total volume traded is over 4.2 million MATIC, according to MagicEden.
Collected Lens posts are also Polygon NFTs. However, a different collection is created for each post. So the market is somewhat fragmented and posts rarely feature in the lists of trending NFTs.
**3. Reddit Collectible Avatars**
Reddit chose the Polygon blockchain to launch the sale of their collective avatars. Reddit sold over 10 *million* NFTs with a total market cap exceeding $75 million.
Recently, Reddit launched the second wave of avatars from 100 different artists. Each artist has a separate NFT collection.
**4. Sandbox land NFTs**
In November 2022, Sandbox, the popular metaverse and gaming platform, started to sell their digital land as Polygon NFTs, moving on from Ethereum.
Most Sanbox land plots are now traded on Polygon with a total volume of over 6.2 million MATIC. The land isn’t cheap: the average price is over 1,000 MATIC.
**5. Unstoppable Domains**
Similar to ENS, Unstoppable Domains offer domain names as NFTs. Unlike ENS, these NFTs live on the Polygon blockchain.
There are over 3 million domain NFTs. So the floor price is extremely low. However, shorter and more memorable domains could be valuable.
**6. Galxe OAT2**
Galxe OAT (On-chain Achievement Token) are free NFTs issued for taking parts in various campaigns on Galxe. Over 9 million OATs were issued.
While OATs are minted for free, some people buy them. Perhaps they expect to qualify for some whitelisted, allowlists, or other on-chain opportunities.
**7. Gaming NFTs**
Polygon is the network of choice for many blockchain games. Some of those games use NFTs to represent characters and items in the games.
Game NFTs are often even more volatile than other collections. That’s because the value of NFTs can depend on the in-game mechanics (which can change). Games can also quickly go viral and can fall out of favor just as fast.
To find interesting game NFTs on Polygon, you can simply filter collections on OpenSea. MagicEden also has a dedicated Games tab, which features various blockchain games.
👀 **How to view your Polygon NFTs**
Not every crypto wallet adequately displays Polygon NFTs.
However, Zerion Wallet fully supports the Polygon blockchain, including NFTs. You can easily import your existing wallet via a seed phrase or private key.
When you mint or buy NFTs, you can see them in your transaction history. After that, the NFT will show up in a dedicated part of the portfolio that tracks NFTs across all chains.
Alternatively, you can connect your existing wallet to the Zerion web app and see all your Polygon NFTs.
