- A few weekends ago I had the honor of hosting a collage workshop with Superchief gallery at the oculus in Manhattan. I prepared a slide show going through processes that I’ve used in my collages, and techniques I’ve learned after using the medium for some years. I also brought all of my own vintage magazines for people to cut up, and even let the attendees take them home after the event was finished. It felt so good to use my resources to create an environment where creativity was encouraged. It was so refreshing to see so many people in one space engaged in collage and having fun while doing it. I hope I get the opportunity to do something like this again, it was truly an honor. If you’d like to see the slide show I made, DM me and I’ll send it over :)
