- Spam and bots are one of the most fascinating (and hardest) problem to solve in social media, especially in web3 where bots are willing to spend significant amount of funds for a financial gain. As long as there is an arbitrage between buying access and financial gain, this arb will exist. Eventually its an ML problem to solve, and even further a battle of algorithms. I bet the problem would be solved first on a decentralized social media protocol where there is open access to compute the data to build these algorithms.
