- "Tower Records Shibuya - Temple of Music" series (April 2023)
From the moment you step through the doors, you know you're in for something special. Japan is a music lover's paradise. There's a vibe at Tower Records that's unlike anything you'll find elsewhere. It draws local and international music aficionados who know that music is more than just background noise - it's a way of life.
This photo series is a dedication to that.
- So, it was 1999 or so, and I was figuring out how to make this "computer music" with software that was basically impossible to get as I had no internet connection at home. I would download very early Fruity Loops versions at the University with an ultra slow connection and then take it on floppy disks home to install and toy around with music making.
A couple days ago I was searching for an essay I've done for school back in the days on this ancient hard-drive and accidentally found a couple of tunes I was working on on those days. A couple sounded pretty decent having in mind how and when they were made so I chose one to drop here. At the time I was doing this music, it was all for the fun. Kind of a distraction more than something I would care to do in the future. More than 20 years have passed and I never had a job non music related since then. My hobby, my job. Collect that. 🙂

- I've just finished a demo of my first pop song 🕺 and I'm looking for help mixing + possibly some final touches producing it. slide into my DMs if that's you or someone you know...
I'm a classically trained cellist but this is my first real experience recording and producing modern music. I'm learning a lot, but ultimately would love to have a few peeps I can work with to help bring my ideas to life 🖤

- What is a Territory on t2?🤔
Territories are decentralised article clubs. 📗 As repositories of content, these house the different on-chain articles that you can read grouped according to a specific topic. When you join a territory, you can read all the content you want, and get recognised with Time Points for the time you spend reading.
At the same time, territories are also living reader-writer communities. 🌱 Not only can you read everything within it. Eventually, you’ll be able to engage with writers and your fellow readers, suggest articles, pitch ideas or sub-territories (aka Spaces), and more.
- Should Lens have more support for languages such as translations and content discovery based on local languages?

I'm thinking about adding a "cover" to the monthly "getting started with #lens" post (e.g. https://lenster.xyz/posts/0x0f85-0x1452 ). Until now it's a text only post but I think introducing the collect feature and the awesome lens creator community with this post sounds reasonable (to me).
The little concept I would love to discuss with you ... (perfect world scenario)
[1] all collectors of the "getting started with lens" post of the current month can suggest and vote on lens artists for the following month.
[2] the artist creates the cover for the "getting started with lens" post of the next month.
[3] the post can be collected for 0.3 WMATIC with 50% mirror fee share and is limited to 333 editions.
[4] the collect fee goes 100% to the artist.
[5] start with [1]
Is the base idea actually reasonable? And does the "concept" make sense? :-)
Is the collect fee and mirror share fee attractive for artists to join?
Would love to read your thoughts 🙏
- Hey everyone! This post is my attempt at some Socratic philosophy. Please read it scenically and with an open mind. The goal of this dialect is to either disprove atheism, or prove that there are two planes of reality. As a gnostic, this is an important exercise in affirming or proving my personal beliefs of the hypostasis. If you think of a good criticism, I would really enjoy it!
Here it goes:
So we are going to start by making two assumptions that have to be true for reality to exist in only one plane of existence.
The first assumption is: The universe must be infinite. If this is untrue then the universe must be contained within another set of reality.
The second assumption is that: consciousness is created by a summation of atomic like particles. If this is untrue then consciousness is arising (or in my biased opinion connecting) to our perceived plane of reality.
So the first natural question is this: Is consciousness made up of matter?
We look at the laws defined and say, “yes, consciousness is made up of matter.”
The next question is this, “Given infinite time, should our consciousness be reconstructed by the realignment of matter.”
When we look at the laws defined we should answer, “Yes, given an infinite time after death our consciousness should be reconstructed, and it should in fact be ‘us.’”
The next question is more perplexing: “Based on the statement that consciousness can be reconstructed given an infinite amount of time, would you say that in an infinite universe, you should be conscious in greater than one location?”
While unintuitive, the answer according to our laws is: “yes, of course.”
Now the follow up is the real killer, “Then why aren’t you? Why aren’t you or any of the other of billions of humans on earth experiencing.”
The clear answer is that one of the two laws is incorrect, imo disproving the notion of atheism. The best counter arguments imo are the monist-everything is happening in your head, but I still think that’s two planes: your head and perceived reality. And, there’s also the argument that consciousness is serial, not continuous, and generated in parallel with the surrounding universe, so the laws would be true and you would just be interacting with parallel universes simultaneously, but I don’t really buy that personally. Anyway, I hope you all enjoyed and please lmk your thoughts!
