we still live in a real world of physical objects so i'm choosing to be more conscious of that and those who maybe aren't familiar with web3 (or care to be).
captured on my favourite kind of #35mm film, _P6IXXX explores between where most of what i see comes from - on the street or from the roofs. y'all can have those, i'll take the windowsill perch playing with lines, perspective, and vanishing points.
this image also ended up as my most viewed/engaged with on twitter so i took as a sign it should exist beyond the web. after some inquiries to print i figured why not more! hope you enjoy & thanks in advance for helping share it around

You wake up, this was all a dream. Bitcoin? what's that? You're lying on your bed listening to the menu screen music. Staring at a poster of Donna from "That 70's Show" on your wall. Better go to sleep, you have school tomorrow. But maybe just one more mission.

- GM I've never been anywhere on earth that offers so many immersive spaces which make you feel. I've also never been so rebellious to the "rules" of photo. 1y in the NFT space has proven there is 0 respect for photography as an art & is only getting worse w AI / all this "post-photography" nonsense 🤮 Other art is sans rules so I'm done trying to produce the perfect crispy piece when the definition is someone else’s anyways.

- GM, everyone!🌿
I’m Mari, welcome to my profile! I create digital illustrations, whimsical cartoonish characters with splashes of bright colors. Hopefully, they spark joy in you!
I’m at the beginning of my art journey and I don’t follow many rules 👾. I’m here to find like-minded people, hang out and share my art pieces as well as my crypto Web3 quests. Stay tuned for that!
Few more things about me: I communicate with cats much better than with humans, but I’m working on that. I'm starting to learn a new language now. I’m an avid traveller and I adore mountain landscapes 🏔. Well, city scapes and street art too!
A huge shout out to @lensprotocol_ru.lens, who helped me getting a profile in Lens, frens you are the best! Thank you! I’m excited to dip my toes into a social platform build in Web3.
Xx
Mari

**Creator Health**
It was 2018 when I first picked up a camera. I had been going through a difficult period of life which I was struggling to navigate when someone close to me handed me a colouring book and suggested I use it to channel my thoughts.
At first, I felt puzzled. Despite being artistic when I was younger, I didn't see how the pages in this book would help me create something positive but upon opening it, I found out that I was soon to be very wrong about my initial assumption.
I spent hours with that colouring book, meticulously choosing colours to put to paper as I brought each image to life. It became a healthy pass time and whilst it didn't solve the issues in the outside world, it did give me something to channel my energy into at a time when I needed it most.
After colouring nearly every image the book had, I decided it was finally time to put it down and pick up a blank one which allowed me the opportunity to channel my own inspiration into each page as I had no lines directing me.
In the beginning, my drawings merely resembled anything I had pictured in my head, but I was ok with that. It wasn't that I was looking for instant perfection, I understood this would take time. What I was grateful for; however was the outlet art was providing for me.
As each day passed, I saw little improvements in myself, not just in my drawing abilities, but also in my own mental health. The days began to feel easier and I felt I was finding a purpose in being creative.
One day as I used up the last page in the book, I began searching the house, looking for somewhere new to scribble my inspiration. I didn't find a new book, but what I did find instead was my brother's camera that he had put down one day and never picked back up. It was a Canon 1100D with an 18-55mm lens which looked as if it had never been touched. I put it on charge realising I was completely clueless on how I was going to use it and so whilst I waited, I dived into every tutorial online that I could find.
By the time the camera had finished charging, I had learnt its very basic settings which allowed me to take my first photo. Admittedly, it came out completely dark which took me straight back to YouTube to work out what it was that I hadn't quite understood. As I corrected the exposure, I again snapped my next photo. It was very wonky, but this time you could depict what it was I was trying to take.
Over the coming months, I spent every opportunity I could with his camera. It took me a long time to truly understand its settings, but after a while, I saw some strong progress and not long after that, I had become totally obsessed.
I downloaded Photoshop and loaded my SD card onto my laptop for the first time. I had taken so many photos but hadn't yet thought about what I would do with them. I spent time learning the fundamentals of PS and dived into various experimentations following along with lots of different tutorials which I had found online.
I felt like I had found my true calling and loved every moment I spent behind the camera and again when processing my images. I started sharing them online which allowed me to connect with others who were similarly interested in photography. With so much inspiration around me, I continued to drive my passion forward.
Months later, I was very fortunate to be accepted into university where I had the pleasure to study photography full-time over the next three years. During this time, I navigated a lot of changes in my own photographic style and found myself becoming interested in photography and the landscape.
As I began to explore this, I saw a change within my style as it turned from something very dark to what would become a burst of colour that showered my landscape imagery. As I moved past some of my more difficult emotions, I began creating fantastical images that felt very serene. I wanted to provide the viewer with the same sense of calm I felt when creating.
My work today focuses a lot on searching for the light within the darkness when it feels like the world is on top of you. Photography and art have taught me that I will always have a place to go where I can channel my emotions. No matter how long we are apart, I know that together they create a home that will welcome me whenever I should choose to visit. I might go weeks, months and now even nearly a year without opening the door, but as I found out recently, I will always be able to walk back in.
Fuelling my creator health, photography and art have seen me through my darkest of times and been there to light up my brightest of moments. Creating is the strength that keeps me balanced and I will never forget the house that it has built for me as I paint it in every colour of the rainbow that I possibly can.
Today, I combine the use of photography and art together as I enjoy blending the two mediums to see what I can create. I hope you enjoy the following image that was created with inspiration as I reflected on the journey that has brought me to where I am today.

This trip has been a clear reminder that I cannot live a life with (many) obligations. During these 10 days ripping around Hokkaido chasing powder (and visibility) to participate in the activity we’ve traveled across the globe for, making decisions to journey about different locations, taking gambles, not getting our way, sometimes scoring but sometimes not, it stresses me out thinking of a scenario where I have to plan further in advance than the morning of or day before. Just going with the flow. Seeing what’s around the bend. I’m living a life (and struggle) that most would be far too uncomfortable with, living paycheck to paycheck in a freelance world that seems to be diminishing. Constantly keeping fingers crossed for digital or physical art sales that come from not so often juiced up engagement on social media platforms to reach potential collectors. The only other option being application to a 40+ hour per week office job and sacrificing all of the experiences I’m immersing in? To be honest, I’d rather be perpetually broke (:

- This is something I've been waiting for a long time, the ability to say I'm a Nifty Gateway artist. I wanted my genesis to be all encapsulating of elements that make me go. Photography + filmmaking + art + my favourite things. No pigeonholing here 🕊️ Published by @brinkman
+ you read that right... top 3 bids of the ranked auction piece receive a printed puzzle of the image! I always will keep some sort of physicality involved with my work even in this digital realm.
I've watched how NG treats/promotes their artists & how involved they are for a while now & it has not gone unnoticed. To have this opportunity is truly amazing & for those within to be so personable is icing on the cake! 🙏
Stay tuned for updates throughout the weekend (:

- Hi! I’m Ellie 👋 I’m a multi-disciplinary artist who got their start as a classical cellist and photographer. As a synesthete, my perception of different stimuli gets jumbled up which makes my relationship with color in particular very special. Most of my artwork comes from a place of me trying to share my perception with the world.
I am fascinated by the interplay of obsolete and cutting edge technologies and I spend a lot of time playing with both. I love analog video and photography, I love all things AI, I love playing with them together and seeing what happens. My process is usually very recursive with lots of back and forth between old hardware and the latest software, live coding visualizers and video synthesizers.
I’m also a web3 advocate and NFT artist, collector and curator working hard to elevate under represented artists. I’m honored to have curated and produced some of the largest web3 art exhibitions to date 🙌

@stani.lens discussed potential governance in a Podcast, check tweet below
TLDR: it's possible to create a governance model eventually if there is good protocol adoption:

- It's #patientgamer Friday! And it's a good one, one of the best really. Earthbound is a SNES game and a cult classic. This game has a lot of heart, groovy-tunes, quirky dialog, unforgettable characters and a great story. There's no other game like it. I won't say much about the story because if you haven't experienced it, it's best to go in blind. Oh, and you can play it (and many others) for free within your browser on https://afterplay.io/. All you need is the ROM file and you're good to go!

- If you like Terry Pratchett, then you're going to love the adventure games. The third of three point-and-click adventure games, "Discworld Noir", unlike the first two games it doesn't get its source material from the books. But the developers definitely got that Pratchett charm right. This game is dark, gritty, full of wit and still worth a play 23 years later. Oh and it has Nobby Nobbs of the Anhk-Morpork City Watch!

- I'm starting a thing, it's called #patientgamerfriday. Where we appreciate the older titles. This weekend I'm playing the classic and beautiful, Beyond Good And Evil on the Gamecube system. What are you playing this weekend? Old or new.
- Folks don't follow or collect paid follows that you don't know what the project is. Lensbeat is a good example that simply didn't tell anything what they were up to (they weren't associated with anyone) and disappeared. Simply promising random airdrop. IMO everyone who is promising an airdrop should be approached with caution.
