The Lens team is on the ground and we're so excited to bring the social layer of web3 to Japan.
We have $20k in prizes for the hackathon!
🥇 1st $5k
🥈 2nd $3k
🥉 3rd $2k
🎖️ 10 best Lens Integrations for nullk each
Lens is web3 native meaning it’s simple to build native payment features directly into your app. Mirrors, collects, follows and comments allow creators to monetize their content directly to the user, without intermediaries, and in a permissionless way. Premium content, token-gated rewards, tipping, crowdfunding, subscription services, referral, and affiliate programs are just a handful of the countless types of integrations you can build with Lens.
Looking for some inspiration?
- We're still in the early innings of AI and ML and want to see more devs utilizing the latest innovations from OpenAI, Replicate, HuggingFace, LangChain, and Dust just to name a few. Imagine the possibilities when web3 social intersects with AI/ML 🤯
- You could use AI/ML to analyze a user’s feed over the course of a few days and condense it into a single view so they can visit less often and still be up to date with what’s the latest and greatest.
- Or create a social learning platform that uses AI to create personalized learning paths for users. It could assess users' knowledge levels, recommend relevant learning materials, and provide real-time
feedback and guidance.
- You could use Lens profiles specifically for your gaming identity. Imagine your in-game items and high scores attached to your Lens profile and you curate a Lens leaderboard for the community.
- Bust a move! Build an app that lets users participate in virtual dance-off challenges. Users can record and upload their dances, challenge friends or random users, and compete for the elusive best dancer on Lens title 💃🕺
- Build a community app for @galverse.lens on Lens that utilizes the Splits for Collects feature (https://docs.lens.xyz/docs/create-post-typed-data#multirecipientfeecollectmodule) and you'll help with the development of the anime, character design, story, and more.
- Imagine using the Collect module for more exclusive content such as event ticketing.
- How about building a governance forum specifically for Lens users? gm DAOs 🤔
- Calling all pet lovers out there. Create a social platform where users can showcase their pets' talents, tricks, and general awesomeness. Users can upload videos of their pets and participate in virtual talent shows, with categories like "Best Trick," and "Funniest Moment"
- Want to bridge that gap from web2 social to web3? Build a site that shows you the most followed people that have used a site (maybe the 🐦 app) or help users connect their web2 account and generate a ZKP for mapping.
- Or a Lens creator dashboard for tracking post analytics (engagement, collects, revenue, etc) and helping you find your 1000 true fans.
- Maybe you find yourself collecting every post from one of the 100k profiles already on Lens. Create a module to “subscribe” to someone and automatically collect everything the post within certain parameters.

- 🚨🚨 UPDATE DISPATCHER 🚨🚨
Hey Frens! 💜 We have a few updates. For a while there was an issue with Lens posts and mirrors. We have now fixed these issues and you can experience faster lens experience (thanks amazing Lens team). Here's what you need to do:
- Go to https://lenster.xyz/ and log in with your lens profile (we recommend using a wallet browser if you are on mobile).
- Go to settings and select dispatcher and re-set your existing "Lens Dispatcher" by clicking on the update button. (You will have to pay some gas fee).
- This new Dispatcher is much faster. We strongly recommend you to do it.
- Do a hard close (swipe close) of Phaver and open it again.
Also Lens Mirror on Phaver, which was down for a while, has been activated again for free by the protocol level. So now we have reactivated all Lens mirror operations on the Phaver side.
It is very normal for users who do not complete the processes in this way to get errors, please complete the steps mentioned above as soon as possible. 🎊

- not sure tbh how to visualise it nicely. Maybe @theweb3designer.lens has an idea … the input is a 2 column table with 0-n rows 🤷♀️ - for every profile ID.
Would be possible in a „snake diagram“ with big bubbles in the beginning - rank is highest - and small bubbles at the end - rank is idk closer to 50.
a total lens ranking would be possible as well . 🤔 (=1 chart)
But what’s the value of this information - to start with :-).
- Everybody is looking for the next big airdrop after $OP and $ARB.
However, there is one airdrop that nobody has mentioned that probably will be the most valuable yet.
⏬
- What was your first OS? mine was Windows 95. I wish I could add the start sound here as well
- This is Lenny
- ARB distribution model was designed by Nansen 🔵 🦅
+2,300,000 addresses bridged to Arbitrum before the snapshot.
Online 625,143 were eligible for ARB. Only around 30%!
What can we learn from their report?
5 key take-aways so you don't get excluded from airdrops ⚡
1/5
Eligibility Criteria:
- Conducted transactions: number, value, and time thresholds
- Arbitrum Nova: bridging & conducted transactions
- Dapps and Governance activity
- Liquidity providing
💡 Take-away: the more different activities, the better. Be active!
2/5
USD Value. I know this is a given, but it's important to stress out.
• The majority of wallets transact on small USD amounts
• The majority of wallets got small airdrops (USD value terms)
💡 Take-away: more volume = bigger airdrop. But you didn't need to be a whale to get it!
3/5
The number of transactions
• The majority of the wallets made 1-2 transactions (1M+ wallets)
• Only 100k wallets made 50-100 transactions
Median = 3
Average = 28
💡 Take-away: more transactions = more valuable airdrop.
Become a recurring user.
4/5
Sybil wallets:
• The Arbitrum Foundation wanted to exclude sybil wallets from getting the $ARB airdrop
• Sybil wallets = wallets with similar/fake activity, with the pure intention of hunting for an airdrop
• 172k wallets excluded
💡 Take-away: be user, not a "hunter"
5/5
Negative criteria ⚠️
This is a new concept: some actions subtracted points, i.e. they hurt the user's individual points to get ARB.
These users got less ARB:
• All transactions in a 48h period
• Interacted with only 1 smart contract
• Low ETH balance in Snapshot day
There's a lot more data in their official report.

- Unpopular opinion
`One of the worst consequences of COVID was how governments managed money policies.`
Too much money was allocated to distract the masses.
In conjunction with historically low-interest rates, these policies were the perfect trigger to accelerate cheap asset access.
Low-interest rates made money an affordable resource. VCs raised crazy funds that needed to be deployed quickly.
Startups and crypto firms started receiving a lot of attention. The FOMO in Pre-Seed and Seed rounds raised, and valuations skyrocketed. Founders got a lot of money with very competitive conditions.
The most aggressive were getting results, being on top, and making crazy returns. But that was not the reality. It ended fast.
A lot of failures have happened in the last 12 months. A lot more is likely going to happen before September.
It was a bubble, and that moment in time is not here anymore. I hope you play safer now if you are still in the game.
My morale is: We are missing something when we feel we are living in an unprecedented moment. We miss something if we think what we are living is unique.
- Think squirrels are cute and harmless? Think again. Here are three scary facts about these furry creatures: 1) They can spread diseases like Lyme disease and tularemia. 2) They can cause serious damage to homes by gnawing on wires and insulation. 3) They have been known to attack humans and pets when feeling threatened. Don't underestimate these bushy-tailed rodents. #squirrels #wildlife #facts

- quick update to my last post asking about the possibility of posting on-chain SVGs...I can now confirm that it is 💯 possible within the existing contracts! There is on one caveat: currently it does not appear that any of the frontends are indexing these kinds of posts yet.
That said, I did manage to cobble together an on-chain SVG, posted through the Lens contracts:
- OS link: https://opensea.io/assets/matic/0x961e1d077fbe6e6188ce309da36e271b54e6f5f5/1

- LensHub Contract: https://polygonscan.com/address/0xDb46d1Dc155634FbC732f92E853b10B288AD5a1d#readProxyContract#F19
As you can see from the contracts, this token was minted from Lens with the URI pointing directly to an SVG, no file storage or image link in between. I'd love to see more integration for these kinds of posts @lenster.lens , @buttrfly.lens , @orbapp.lens

- New week, same vision, new energy 🔋⚡️
GM legends ☕️
- IMO technologies like GPT will have a disproportionate impact on the role of Developer Relations compared to other software engineering jobs.
Some things already seem obsolete, like basic explanations of technologies, and as it becomes easier to fine-tune a model, even more so.
Documentation will be automated, and probably both written and video tutorials and such will also be to some extent.
One thing that may be hard to automate completely - concise and easy to understand guides for new technologies that combine a handful of things together.
For instance combining x,y,z (where z is a completely new API or technology) to create something original and doing so in the most easy to understand way seems like it will probably need some human touch.
Maybe part of DevRel is ultimately just being able to take advantage of these new technologies
Also will be interesting to see how this all affects the social aspect of being in DevRel?
Having deep technical chops will be more important as the aggregation and some of the communication work that today is a lot of DevRel can now easily be automated.
Seems like it will raise the bar on what hiring managers look for in this role if they no longer will rely on DevRel people for doing many of the types of things that in the past would be considered "DevRel"
Just some thoughts but definitely curious to hear what others think.
And of course, to wrap up this thread, I asked ChatGPT what their opinion was on this subject!

- Your $ARB price prediction ? 🤔
I think 1.5 ~ 2
- Above null ,I guess. But initially due to volatile nature, some people will manage to sell it above $5 also.
- $ARB PRICE SCENARIOS 🦅🔵
Investor price* → Market Cap 85M - ARB $0.07
Pessimistic → Market Cap 360M - ARB $0.30
Moderate → Market Cap 780M - ARB $0.65
Optimistic → Market Cap 1.4B - ARB null.20
Ecstatic 🎉 → Market Cap 3.0B - ARB $2.50
@Arbitrum Thread 🧵 - Let's estimate 🧠
$ARB is launching in 6 days
Snapshot Date: Feb 6th 2023
Many active DeFi got this airdrop (12% of the total supply)
How much could $ARB be worth a few days after launch?
1/18
Arbitrum One is the biggest Ethereum Layer2 blockchain in the space, by TVL and market share
• Market share: 55%
• TVL: $3.7B
2/18
Today we will roughly try to estimate $ARB price valuation a few days after launch - after the dust settles. By using:
• Total & initial circulating supply
• Market Benchmarks
• Percentage airdropped
3/18
TOKENOMICS
• Team & Advisors: 26.94%
• Investors: 17.53%
• Treasury: 42.78%
• Airdrop to users: 11.62%
• Airdrop to Arbitrum DAOs: 1.13%
4/18
TOKEN SUPPLY
• Total supply: 10B tokens (10,000,000,000)
• Circulating supply on 1st day: roughly 1.2B (1,200,000,000)
~12% of total supply
User airdrop is immediately unlocked. It's safe to assume that Airdrop to Arbitrum DAOs will not enter the market right away
5/18
AIRDROP CRITERIA
• Conducting transactions during 2-9 distinct months
• Transaction frequency & interaction (4-100)
• Arbitrum Nova activity: 3-10 transactions
• Bridging to Arbitrum & Arbitrum Nova
• Transaction value: $10k-$250k
• Providing liquidity: $10k-$250k
6/18

🚨 Careful with scam links, always get your link from @Arbitrum twitter
Now, let's try to make scenarios for $ARB's price 👇
7/18
FDV AND MARKET CAP MEANING
• Fully Diluted Valuation (FDV) = total supply * token price
• Market cap = circulating supply * token price
With $ARB numbers:
FDV = 10B * token price
Market cap = 1.2B * token price
Token price = ❓
8/18
SPECULATING INVESTOR'S PRICE
According to Crunchbase, Offchain Labs raised 120M.
Investors are getting ~17% of the token supply, which is around 1.7B tokens.
If they bought 1.7B tokens for $120M, then that's around $0.07 per ARB. Pure speculation 👀
9/18
The best benchmarks for $ARB are Optimism and Polygon, but we can also work with other chains. Let's compare:
• Polygon $MATIC
• Optimism $OP
• Fantom $FTM
• Solana $SOL
10/18
Optimism $OP - the 2nd biggest Ethereum L2
• TVL: $950 million (DefiLlama)
• FDV: $10.8 billion
• Market cap: $800 million
If $ARB had this FDV, its price would be ~null.08
11/18
Polygon $MATIC
• TVL: null.05 billion
• FDV: $11.8 billion
• Market cap: $10.7 billion
If $ARB had this FDV, its price would be ~null.18
12/18
Fantom $FTM
• TVL: $445 million
• FDV: null.4 billion
• Market cap: null.2 billion
If $ARB had this FDV, its price would be ~$0.14
13/18
Solana $SOL
• TVL: $245 million
• Market cap: $7.7 billion
• FDV: $10.9 billion
If $ARB had this FDV, its price would be ~null.09
14/18
Summarizing:
• $ARB with the FDV of $OP: null.08
• $ARB with the FDV of $MATIC: null.18
• $ARB with the FDV of $FTM: $0.14
• $ARB with the FDV of $SOL: null.09
15/18
If the market prices ARB at the same level as OP and MATIC (~10B FDV) then token price could be ~null.00
In contrast, for ARB price to be $3.00, its FDV needs to be 3 times the size of OP's.
Yes, Arbitrum has two times Optimism's TVL, but I don't know if that is enough.
16/18
PRICE SCENARIOS
Pessimistic → Market Cap 360M - ARB $0.30
Moderate → Market Cap 780M - ARB $0.65
Optimistic → Market Cap 1.4B - ARB null.20
Ecstatic 🎉 → Market Cap 3.0B - ARB $2.50
17/18
The first hours of trading will probably be a mess, so expect volatility.
These numbers are just a price iteration and comparison to what's already out there. I don't expect them to make sense the first day of trading.
18/18
LIQUIDITY
Remember Optimism partnered with Wintermute for liquidity on $OP launch; we should wait to see how Arbitrum does it. I think they will surely take care of initial liquidity.
At which price would you sell $ARB?
