weβve seen several trends on @lensprotocol like projects getting a lot of attention for a few days to weeks.
What do you think, does it take to stay relevant for more than a few weeks?
What turned out to work on lens so far?
βimo there areβ
(1) **general purpose apps** like @lenster.lens @orbapp.lens @buttrfly.lens and of course @phaver.lens
(2) **personal brands** like @jessyjeanne.lens @cmn__.lens
(3) creators sharing (visual) art consistently. from an attention point of view. Like @chaoticmonk.lens @grams.lens
(2) and (3) might be one category π€.
(short lived attention is of course not lens specific)

- I am very happy that I have finished launching the @lensprotocol.lens course on @web3arabs.lens so that we become the first Arab platform to explain Lens Protocol π
I tried to explain all the basic issues in Lens Protocol and build projects on it and using @livepeer.lens πͺ
The examples that @nader.lens shared were a basis for me during construction and they really helped me.
I've finished the stuff I've been working on all this month πβ€οΈ it's zebra dance time π¦π

- We're thrilled to announce that orb has raised $2.3M to build an everyday app for web3 social.
Prominent backers include @superscrypt.lens.lens, @fdotinc.lens.lens, and others.
Here is our master plan for the next phase π
In a time when many web3 companies are busy building infrastructure, we believe that creating consumer-facing products for regular people is crucial for driving web3 adoption.
We're committed to making a product that allows people to connect, interact, and make transactions in their everyday lives.
The next generation of the internet will be more open, transparent, and decentralized. We are building orb to access this new internet from your fingertips.
Today, we are building in collaboration with the best state-of-the-art open protocols such as @LensProtocol.lens, @xmtp.lens_, @Livepeer.lens, and many others. And this is just a start. :)
https://www.theblock.co/post/252340/lens-protocol-based-web3-social-app-orb-raises-2-3-million
To celebrate this milestone with them, we are giving away a collectible.
If you have a Lens handle, you are eligible for this free mint! Log in to the Orb app, and at the top of the home page, you will find the option the mint.
To build this exciting product, we're expanding our founding team! So, if you're interested in joining this journey, we have the following open positions available:
1. Founding Product & UI/UX Designer (San Francisco)
2. Founding Flutter Engineer (India)
https://site-editor.workable.com/orb/preview/650ad4a54fe2a788702da919/?lng=en
We wouldn't be able to ride on this ambitious vision without our backers and believers!

- I saw everyone excited about the upcoming products from Apple ππ What's new? Let's summarize it quickly π
Unfortunately, there is nothing new in this conference. So far, Apple's stocks have dropped by 2% due to disappointing the Apple fan boys.
Now let's start with the watch. We have two models that were showcased: Series 9 and Ultra 2.
The new things are the use of eco-friendly materials in watch manufacturing and an increase in the number of lights for all models, but these are not new specifications π€£
But now I will shock you with the new thing and amazing feature, which is the crab movement feature π¦π¦ that allows you to answer calls by making a crab-like motion when holding something π.
There is also another amazing feature which is finding your lost phone through the watch. Instead of searching for your phone using the watch, you can make a call from another phone and solve the problem. This method has been used since forever, but Apple users surely have a different opinion π
.
Now let's move on to the regular iPhone. The most beautiful feature that cost $26 billion in development is reducing the weight of the device by only one gram ππ WTF?
The same processor as last year was used with no significant changes, but there are some additions here and there like expanding dynamic island, which is a software modification that doesn't require a new version of iPhone π
The main camera has 48 megapixels, and that's all.
As for iPhone Pro and Pro Max, the new thing is that their external casing is made of titanium. There are improvements in the processor, which I find amusing especially for gaming, and improvements in the camera...
One of the most important things mentioned by Apple is changing the charging port from lightning to USB-C. From now on, we won't hear people with blue blood and velvet saying, "Do you have an iPhone charger?" My phone is about to die, and they will look at us with a malicious look (the look of the rich) π
From now on, they will ask, "Do you have a Samsung charger?" and feel humiliated ππ
This is my summary of the conference for the new watches and iPhones ππ.
- If the show blows up tomorrow technically, it is 100% my fault. Made some upgrades to the studio. Mix minus for all! π§

- I think that creating more of these images in the @lensprotocol.lens course may help the student easily understand how this project works, even if he does not own a Lens πΏ
Since there are not many Arabic speakers on the Lens Protocol, would it be feasible to give lens to each student when he finishes the course? π€ more ideas!!
What about claim lens during V2, is it given to all people who ask for it or does it go through periods?
