this is a special image to me. from one of my very first photo adventures in NYC once i broke out of my shell and started wandering around with the camera. my first two years living in the city were one hell of a reality check on the weird ass pleasantville shit i grew up in. every day, a learning experience. it’s almost as if these years were such a whirlwind of lessons that i blacked out and only know of what followed. the ability to capture a metaphoric path of life in a single photograph of young ones is no simple task.
