- Look her in the eyes 👁️🔥👁️ what do you see?
This piece somehow became a sort of turning point in how I conduct my work.
Before I was constantly working on perfecting each detail, keeping tons of references and studying each element before actually drawing it so I can fit into this perfect style I imagined myself 🫠 Sounds exhausting right?
But this lady not only looking confident in her own way but also transmitted some of it to my inner artist and here I am drawing her with such freedom, using bold colors which you will never find in my previous drawings.
Just love her for that. For teaching me to loosen up and get lost into painting as I did when I was a kid 🥰🥹🙏
- Leela says hi 👋🐶
- Gm gm have a good day guys 🌻
- This piece was a part of a bigger project that never came to life. Well like my friend says - maybe it was never meant to be completed and that’s why it’s perfect 👌

Art happens to be not only fun!
It is also about routine, repetitive work, doubts, blank page anxiety, fear that you have already done your best work and so much more of other difficult things.
But it all fades away when you see that you can create something! You, your imagination, media that you use and a impressions and experiences you collected over time and 💥 you are looking at a new piece that was created by you. Born out of fire of your love towards art and this unpredictable life.

- I guess it’s time for a small intro 🫶
- I think I exhausted the whole day energy quota in just couple hours 🤔😅
- So true and how painful it can be if realised too late.

A little about me 👇
I’m fascinated by Indian classical music 🎵being here in India 🇮🇳 Bollywood music has thankfully till date, not forgotten its classical roots.
I remember clearly, I was 10 or so when I was taken to a classical music lesson by my parents. My teacher taught me music with an Indian key instrument 🎹called Harmonium. It’s music is just… beautiful. Compels u to sing.
I sang everyday for hours. Later I picked up the bansuri, or Indian flute 🪈 . I trained in that under my guru ( teacher) shri ravi Shankar Prasanna for almost 10 years.
I’m krp, one of the earliest web3 musicians from India. Going to make sure others get in too. I live in a small village in South India. This video was shot in a small plot of land behind my home my dad built 25 years ago. I live here with my lovely, beautiful and fierce wife @lens/katiaram. She’s an artist from Russia who who I just “orbed” few days ago and lives here with me for the past 6 years.
Orb is changing my life.
Hope u like this 1/1.

Hey!
My name is Katia Ram.
I’m a self-taught artist from Russia living and creating in India.
I do digital paintings in my own interpretation of an Indian miniature style and I am exploring how art can convey to a viewer a certain state of meditation and help us to find beauty within ourselves.
I started drawing when I was 2 years old. Since then it was only thing that was with me through all my life. Art was not only my friend but also my therapy, my way of expressing childish protests and as I will find out later - my true meditation process.
I moved to India because I myself was a seeker, and I still am. I believe India chose me not only because it has rich and diverse culture which can accommodate everyone but because it is a land of seekers and gurus and only here I could find what I was looking for. And this doesn’t have to do anything with religion it is purely mystical.
I moved not only to India but straight to the monastery - to ashram. I was a full time volunteer for 5 years and most of them I didn’t do art at all. I was just trying to find my way to my true self. And I did - I always was and I am an artist.
