- The avatar display on OS are super cool honestly but I miss the green heads.
- I'm genuinely thrilled about Lens. What truly excites me, even in its early stages, is Lens's profound emphasis on artists and creators
In contrast to other emerging social platforms often dominated by devs, builders, or other roles ( they are needed as well - don't get me wrong - read till the end to understand my point ), Lens stands out to me for its genuine appreciation of artistic contributions. Here, artists aren't merely present; they're celebrated for their unique perspectives and creative endeavors. They're not confined to the sidelines but are integral to shaping the platform's identity and culture
I feel that Lens's ethos naturally prioritizes artists and creators. This has been evident to me since I joined it a while ago, and it's a core value that resonates deeply with me. While the artist community on Lens may not yet match the scale of other platforms, its significance surpasses mere numbers. The emphasis placed on artists here is palpable, and it's heartening to witness
And I believe this emphasis wasn't solely symbolic but practical, and now this practicality can be even more tangible through tokens like $bonsai, from which artists can derive real value from their work. This recognition, both in spirit and substance, underscores Lens's commitment to fostering creativity and supporting its artistic community. These tokens were created by the community—not necessarily with direct intention for the artists, but they are the ones shaping the culture!
I sense in the ethos formed here that art is not merely seen as decoration but rather understood as the lifeblood of any thriving ecosystem. Without artists, social platforms would lack the soul and vibrancy that make them truly engaging. The fact that I perceive this essence within Lens fuels my unwavering support and belief in it, regardless of what other platforms may offer
We require more than just functionality from our digital spaces; we need inspiration, creativity, and the human touch that only artists can provide. With the steadfast dedication to artists that I feel here, Lens embodies these ideals, making it not just an ecosystem but a beacon of artistic expression in the digital landscape
Please don't get my point wrong - for a thriving ecosystem, we require a diverse array of elements. However, in many emerging platforms, artists often find themselves overlooked, despite their crucial role in infusing meaning in them and driving their adoption
Just as in life's symphony, each of our voices holds significance... And it's time we acknowledge this more! I appreciate all of you, whether artists or not!🌹
- Hopefully, I won't be selling this profile now that handles and profiles are very cheap.
- Hats off to everyone building and contributing to this space and de-so in general. It feels like being part of a social revolution that more people will wake up to later. I am getting the vibe of the early days of twitter when you were posting but talking to yourself alone before convincing your friends to join even if they didn't use the account then 10 years later want to join and be active. I am super sure this revolution is not going to take 10 years. We shall see and I will still be here. Till then😁
- 20 years from now, blockchain and AI would have evolved greatly, as they are developing at a quick pace and every time I try to imagine what the mass real world use cases would be, the possibilities are endless.
- Does anyone else think about a new week like a new girl you are trying to get an opportunity with? 😅
- 10 years ago, I never imagined the evolution of the internet to look like this, now here we are using web3 social apps.
- Web3 dapps feel like the supercool version of internet.
- This enthusiast is new here, show me some love.
