- ✨ **Gm Frens! Today, I want to tell you about one of my favorite music bands!**
**🎸 Machinae Supremacy (MaSu)** - An alternative rock band from Sweden, known for incorporating chiptune sounds from video game consoles into their compositions.
🎹 In particular, they use a unique electronic musical instrument called the SidStation, which is based on the **SID (Sound Interface Device)** sound chip from the Commodore 64.
🎧 Machinae Supremacy has become the embodiment of the transition from retro gaming to the digital future of online games and virtual reality.
🦾 Their lyrics are dedicated to a dystopian cyberpunk future in which powerful corporations rule, but free gamers refuse to accept such a fate and challenge the forces that take away their freedom.
Moreover, there is a specific storyline with characters, similar to rock operas, and the band sometimes shares the stories behind their songs, but no one knows the complete picture.
🌸 Additionally, some of their songs are dedicated to TV series, movies, games, and anime.

**But what is gaming internet culture?**
🌎 First and foremost, gamers are apolitical and do not acknowledge state borders because the internet and game servers bring everyone together. They create multiverses that existed before the term was coined.
🎭 Gamers typically derive the spectrum of necessary human emotions and adrenaline from games, without polluting the real world with aggression.

🧘♂️The gaming worldview is essentially similar to Buddhism, as it is an escape from the real world into a better one, and it can really save your soul, but, as you understand, it cannot save your body in this way.
🖥️ MaSu demonstrates the power of digital communities and calls for action and non-violent resistance to the dark real world of the future, which our present world seems to be turning into.

💭 **In my opinion, this ideology strongly correlates with crypto ideals and decentralized Web 3 communities, and MaSu would be great creators for the Lens community.**
🌿 Perhaps, through her channels of communication with musicians, @christina.lens can somehow invite them to Lens and start a blog.

It might be challenging to onboard the world to web3 if a single transaction costs several monthly wages. 🤷♀️
"The Scalability Trilemma says that there are three properties that a blockchain try to have, and that, if you stick to "simple" techniques, you can only get two of those three. The three properties are:
*Scalability*: the chain can process more transactions than a single regular node (think: a consumer laptop) can verify.
*Decentralization*: the chain can run without any trust dependencies on a small group of large centralized actors. This is typically interpreted to mean that there should not be any trust (or even honest-majority assumption) of a set of nodes that you cannot join with just a consumer laptop.
*Security*: the chain can resist a large percentage of participating nodes trying to attack it (ideally 50%; anything above 25% is fine, 5% is definitely not fine)."
