Originally, I conceived this piece as a representation of how sometimes we must detach the heart from the mind. But when I finished it and observed my work, I realized that it could be interpreted as the opposite – the need to unite heart and mind. Either way, it signifies equally important emotional dilemmas. So, I leave it to the interpretation that each of you may need to hear.
