- **Ille-Sur-Têt, France**
The beauty of the South of France is no secret. But it is also home to the lesser-known natural wonder Orgues of Ille-sur-Têt. Meaning organs, the Orgues are incredible rock formations that have the appearance of fairy chimneys at the highest peak of the Pyrenees Orientale. You can’t walk on the fragile rocks but travel south to wander through Gorge de la Fou and follow the trail that leads to the slopes of Mount Canigou. The whole region is dotted with picturesque villages and filled with deep valleys
- Title: Brownie and his Friends beat the Shark
@lens/cmn__ @lens/monniverseofficial @lens/everyone
Once upon a time, in the shimmering depths of the azure sea, there lived a young merboy named Brownie. Unlike other merfolk, Brownie possessed a pair of delicate, iridescent wings that shimmered like moonlight on water. His wings were a gift from the ancient sea spirits, granting him the ability to soar above the waves and dive into the ocean’s heart.
Brownie’s home was a coral palace nestled among swaying anemones and schools of colorful fish. His best friends were Dolphin, the playful and swift swimmer, and Octavia, the wise and mysterious octopus who knew the secrets of the deep.
One fateful day, as Brownie glided through the sun-kissed waters, he noticed a shadow lurking in the distance. It was Shark, a fearsome predator with rows of razor-sharp teeth and eyes as black as the abyss. Shark had terrorized the sea creatures for ages, leaving a trail of fear in its wake.
Dolphin and Octavia sensed the danger too. They gathered around Brownie, their eyes determined. “We must stop Shark,” Dolphin chattered, leaping out of the water. “But how?” Brownie wondered, his wings fluttering nervously.
Octavia unfurled her tentacles, revealing a shimmering pearl amulet. “This ancient talisman holds the power to protect,” she intoned. “With your wings and our combined strength, we can defeat Shark.”
And so, Brownie, Dolphin, and Octavia set off on their quest. They followed Shark’s ominous trail, diving deeper into the ocean’s heart. The currents whispered secrets, guiding them toward the heart of darkness.
As they reached the abyssal trench, Shark emerged—a behemoth with eyes that glinted with malice. Brownie’s wings carried him above the waves, while Dolphin darted around Shark, distracting it. Octavia clung to Shark’s tail, using her ink to blind its vision.
Brownie swooped down, his wings slicing through the water. He aimed for Shark’s vulnerable underbelly. But Shark was cunning. It twisted, snapping its jaws at Brownie. With a swift movement, Brownie evaded the deadly teeth, his wings shimmering with determination.
Dolphin leaped high, crashing into Shark’s dorsal fin. Octavia wrapped her tentacles around its snout, squeezing tightly. Brownie seized the moment, plunging his trident into Shark’s heart. The sea trembled, and Shark thrashed, its dark eyes wide with pain.
Together, they pushed Shark toward the surface. Sunlight danced on its scales as it gasped for breath. Brownie’s wings beat faster, lifting Shark higher. With one final surge of strength, they breached the water’s surface.
Shark lay defeated, its malevolence fading like a receding tide. Brownie’s wings glowed, healing the wounds inflicted by the battle. Dolphin clicked happily, and Octavia’s eyes softened. “You are a true hero,” she whispered to Brownie.
From that day on, the sea creatures sang songs of Brownie’s bravery. His wings became a symbol of hope, reminding all that even the smallest among them could triumph against darkness.
And so, in the heart of the boundless ocean, the legend of Brownie, the winged merboy, echoed through the waves—a tale of courage, friendship, and the magic that dwells in every drop of water. 🌊✨🐬🦑

💡 Ever attended @lens/ethcc_io and received an NFC card? You might've thought it was just for the event, but hold on to it! This tutorial will show you how to use your card to create & mint custom POAPs. Let's get started!
🌐 First, head over to https://iyk.app/admin and log in with your wallet (Metamask, WalletConnect, etc.) to access your POAP cards.
🎨 Next, if you'd like to create a new POAP drop, visit https://drops.poap.xyz/drop/create. Design your artwork and write a description for your POAP.
📋 After creating your POAP, you'll receive a text file containing mint links. Save this file as you'll need it later.
🔄 Now, go back to the IYK admin dashboard (https://iyk.app/admin) and click on "Events" in the left sidebar.
📅 Create a new event by clicking the "Create Event" button. Name it, add a description, and associate it with your POAP card.
🔗 Upload the text file containing your mint links under the "Mint Links" section. Save the event.
📱 Each time someone scans your NFC card, it will use one mint link from the text file. This will create a new POAP for them!
🤝 Share your POAP drops with friends, colleagues, or the community. Create unique experiences and build connections in the Web3 world!
🎉 That's it! You now know how to use your EthCC NFC card to create and mint custom POAPs. Keep exploring the possibilities of Web3 technology and connect with others in new ways. Happy POAPing! #EthCC #POAP

- **📍 French Guiana 🇬🇫**
Two years ago, exactly at this time, I was alone in Aruba and met a woman from French Guiana. I remember having to pause for a moment when she told me where she was from, and then I looked on the map to see its location. We parted ways with a desire for me to visit her country, and back then, I never dreamt that this wish would come true so quickly.
My journey through South America and the Caribbean, lasting about 3 weeks, started from Cayenne, the capital of French Guiana. I'm not even sure if it's correct to say capital because this is actually just a city in France. French Guiana is the largest overseas department of France and the only territory of the European Union in South America.
It's one of the three Guianas, which got their possessive adjectives during the colonial period, but only this one retained it. Dutch Guiana is now Suriname, and British Guiana is just Guyana, both independent states.
I arrived in French Guiana, as expected, from Paris. The one-way flight with airfrance lasted about 9 hours, and I paid 750 euros for it. Quite a lot, but I understood why when we landed. Everything here is expensive. The currency is the euro. Parisian prices, but with a South American environment.
There are no tall buildings; the architecture is still colonial, with colorful houses densely packed together. There's almost no tourism here. Whenever we told someone we were tourists, they looked at us with surprise, as if wondering what we were doing here. English is spoken sparingly, just like everywhere in France.
French Guiana is home to about 300,000 people. The ethnic origin of the population is Creole. Creoles emerged from the mix of Europeans and African slaves, and they predominate in most of the Caribbean. There are also many minorities, mostly from surrounding less developed countries and islands because conditions for living here are better, as you're in the European Union. We met French people who came here to live and work, saying they prefer the climate. Year-round summer suits everyone.
Cayenne can be explored on foot, so we spent the first half of the day exploring its streets and brainstorming how to fill the rest of our planned time. Because again, they don't really have a special tourist offer... What we discovered will be shared in some upcoming posts. 🇬🇫🌴☀️
- One of the biggest challenges in Web3 is balancing composability and risk.
Two recent innovations have opened the door to create novel social experiences while tackling this dilemma.
**Lens Open Actions** and **Farcaster Frames**
Open actions are smart contract calls embedded into an on-chain publication.
They enable developers to embed specific contract calls, parameters, revenue models, and logic (token-gating, follow-gating).
The key benefits of embedding an interaction as a smart contract module are provenance and immutability.
Both the creator and executor can explicitly agree to the terms of execution, and these terms can be verified by anyone.
Frames are a way to embed interactive apps into a social feed.
They enable developers to embed an image and buttons into a social feed, and trigger a callback on button press to update the frame.
Some use cases of Frames are polls, games, or relay-sponsored transactions.
Frames provide a rigid way to embed a frontend experience, while delegating the execution to a callback function which can execute anything.
Open actions are essentially the complement to this design: explicitly defined action and open-ended frontend experience.
The beauty of these primitives and Web3 in general is that they can work interoperably.
I envision a world where where publications on Lens and Farcaster can co-exist by referencing and interacting with each other.
One thing is for certain: the future of agreements is on-chain.
