强大的网络效应代表的是良好的用户体验，很高的用户转移成本，人们因为各种原因很难离开真正具有网络效应的平台。比如苹果生态、微信生态等。
以太坊之所以强大，也是因为其具有网络效应。不过目前因为以太坊还没有真正实现扩展性，这限制它的用户群体规模，从而影响到了用户体验。而L2扩展性的增强，包括zkEVM的成熟，将会解决扩展性的问题，让人们可以低成本使用最安全的丰富加密生态。
以太坊正在成为最具有网络效应的生态。只是它现在还不是，但是它有一个清晰的路线图，如果按照这个路线图实施，那么以太坊未来的价值创造能力将会是惊人的。其惊人的程度将不亚于今天我们对于chatGPT的惊讶程度。
区块链从诞生到现在已经十五年了。以太坊从POW转为POS是这个行业发生根本改变的开始。我相信区块链行业正在从第一阶段走向第二阶段，第一阶段还只是玩具阶段，是少数人使用的平台。第二阶段之后，将会真正迎来快速发展期，迎来mass adoption。
我们作为行业的参与者和产品使用者，以及更重要的是，作为投资者。要明白，现在是真正处在行业早期成长期，也可以说是在范式转移的前夜。我相信随着接下来的上海升级、EIP4844、账户抽象等路标的到达，我们将会看到一个庞大的区块链图景。
如果说投资什么才能够获得最好的投资回报，我想在区块链领域毫无疑问就是ETH，而在AI领域我还没有看到真正的普通投资人可以参与的机会，这个领域发展得如此之快，也许对于一般人而言，最好的做法就是等待，等待那个正确的属于自己的机会出现。
如果要把区块链和AI连接起来，那么区块链将会成为未来元宇宙中的价值承载系统、支付系统和身份系统，而AI则负责除此之外的内容创建、生成和需求应答，共同构成一个庞大的虚拟世界。
终于，人类自己构建了matrix。

In which the content generated is so much that people need to keep up with what others are publishing. We could reach a point where reading other people's content will make no sense.
Bots will write books, tv series, and scientific papers, produce songs, generate art, and much more.
Competition from bots can make us defocus and think that the only way to generate compelling content is to use AI.
Using AI to improve our work is acceptable and can help us as other machines have done in human history. But the risk is that without control, what we produce will be average or below average.
What I feel is critical instead is:
1. Have a clear brand, voice, and idea of who I am, who I want to be, and what my content should generate for the reader.
2. Create emotions in the reader.
3. Train me on perfecting my craft rather than my output. Otherwise, I would become lazy.
4. Make mistakes and be not ashamed to share them.
5. Be authentic and write my own story.

Gpt 的技术，相当于可以让极少数人具有"超大规模处理非结构化数据信息"的能力，然后这个能力层层叠加爆发出的生产力，看不到上限。以前是机器无法处理“非结构化数据”，现在不一样了。软件开发中大量人力密集型的比较繁琐的工作 (比如写胶水代码)，将很容易被替代。

Next week I’m heading to Northern California to work on a studio project with my longtime friend. We’ve worked on some studio builds in the past, but this one is special - it will be solar powered, located in a forest, and built inside a shipping container!🌞
He asked about the possibility of scaling down his system to one single computer. He composes in Logic Pro and mixes in Pro Tools, and previously each DAW had its own separate machine. But given the space constraint of the shipping container, he wants to run everything on one computer.
So, I’m testing a workflow with my latest piece of music to see if I can use Logic Pro to compose, and Pro Tools to mix. The new Pro Tools Bridge software allows me to route up to 64 virtual inputs and outputs between applications. I currently have about 24 channels of audio passing from Logic to PT, and plan to push it as far as my CPU will allow!💥
It’s cool to see both applications functioning at the same time (screenshot below)! The main challenge is finding stability with audio clocking - I found that a low audio buffer introduced clocking errors. I also found that if my computer GPU is being pushed (ie. too many windows open) the audio starts to glitch. I’ve solved this temporarily by using a higher buffer size, and minimizing open windows during playback or recording.
If it doesn’t end up being a workable solution, the other plan is to use audio over IP with two separate computers. But hardware for Dante or AVB can get expensive, and takes up space. The centrepiece of the studio will be an Avid S3 console, so there is an option to create an AVB network and distribute audio between two computers that way. It would just require an AVB switch and another AVB interface.
One way or another, I’ll be posting updates on #Lens when I’m out there, so you can follow along with how things are progressing.
In the meantime… music producers and audio engineers of Lens: let me know if you’ve had any success working with virtual IO or audio over IP protocols. I’d love to hear your thoughts!
