- #Pushprotocol
- This wasn't a winner, it was a sponsor, and it's a protocol that sends an alert to their app when you sign a wallet on the web. I don't know if the product is fully functional, but I thought the idea and implementation were good. I think there are many areas where we can apply it.
- zkvoice (https://ethglobal.com/showcase/zkvoicekey-zeufj)
- It is an application that recognises people by voice and creates and releases wallet accounts. It was interesting that it could be distinguished by voice. It was interesting that it uses a new form of biometric authentication with Face ID and Touch ID.
- Also, in the case of biometrics, biometric information is very private, so it is confidential information that is usually stored locally on the mobile phone, but it is also very advantageous to be able to solve this with zk.
- Myna (https://ethglobal.com/showcase/myna-uxzdd)
- An application that allows you to create and use a wallet account using card NFC. It is similar to the above, but in the case of this service, it is characterised by using the NFC on the Japanese national ID card.
- In reality, it is difficult for countries to adopt and use it, but it is unique that it uses a form of ID card such as a national ID card, which is necessary when the user is essentially tied to the country of Japan.
- Octoplorer (https://ethglobal.com/showcase/octoplorer-block-query-made-easy-pdgmt)
- Many people were equally impressed with this product, which is a block explorer using AI. It's a great idea to use AI to do something that can be done, but is often tedious and difficult.
**My experience as a PM**
- The quality of the output was definitely better than other hackathons.
- The ratio of developers seemed to be high. I felt that the focus was more on the outcome and what was created than other hackathons. And looking at the prize, there were many teams that wrote down their future plans.
- However, the team building part didn't seem to happen very actively. Most of the teams were already a team, and the teams looking for team members were looking for developers, so there seemed to be a gap.
- Having a prize that non-developers can do/newbies can do was seen as a big advantage.
- Compared to other crypto events, I liked the make everything feel. Most crypto events are more about BD and PR than about making products, so I often felt that there was nothing to do even if I participated, but Ether Global had a lot of atmosphere of "Let's make products!".
- In fact, I didn't think that Japan was ahead of the curve in the crypto ecosystem, but this event proved me wrong. The developers gathered at Ether Tokyo + the Ether Global ecosystem + the Ether Global Foundation, etc. I came to think that developed countries are developed countries.
- The rise of zkevm and the birth of a product that combines AI. (+EIP 4337 , account abstraction )
- While I think zkevm was close to following the trend and timeliness, I think there will be more tools that use AI in the future → The convenience of AI-enabled products is extremely high, because AI can reduce the process of figuring out things that previously had to be figured out through multiple processes.
- Therefore, when creating AI-enabled products, it is very useful to find out where these processes are and create a structure that can reduce them.
