One of my favorite projects at Web Summit Rio 2023.
@literaturapostal is a project to read children's books in a simple way using Augmented Reality. Ten children's stories come on small cards. All you have to do is point the app to the cards and have fun together with the children, seeing the printed figures, the 3D scenarios, listening to the narration. And they all have an interpretation signs for deaf persons.

- A SENSORIAL EXPERIENCE AT WEB SUMMIT RIO TO DEVELOP MORE EMPATHY FOR NEURODIVERSE PERSONS
A unique and remarkable experience to have more empathy with neurodiverse people.
Yesterday at @websummitrio, @genialcare provided a Sensory Dysregulation Experience for anyone who wanted to have a perception of what a neurodivergent person feels.
Autism can lead to dysregulation of touch, vision, taste, smell. Therefore, the experience makes the person have the experience of 1 minute and a half of what it is like to have this deregulated system.
A weight of 1 kg was placed on my right leg and another on my left arm so that I would have more imbalance.
Two gloves of different materials and thicknesses left me with more sensitivity in one hand and less in the other.
One headphone produced extremely noisy audio so that I had supersensitive hearing. And a blindfold didn't let me see the path very well and made me have to trust and let myself be led by an unknown person.
The experience was created by Camila, an atypical mother, so that we can have more empathy for neurodiverse people.
