- **Interesting facts about magpies.**
**1.** The body length of the magpie is about 50 centimeters, and the wingspan is 90 centimeters. The magpie's tail is longer than its body.
**2.** Magpies are one of the smartest birds that exist in nature. They have complex social rituals that, in particular, serve to express sadness. Magpies are also the only birds (and not mammals at all) that recognize themselves in a mirror – parrots, for example, consider their reflection to be another individual.
**3.** Magpies do not like dense forests, and willingly settle closer to people.
**4.** Magpies are omnivorous – they can eat both plant and animal food (insects, small mammals or lizards). Sometimes these birds steal bones from dogs, and eggs and chicks from the nests of other birds.
**5.** The Chinese consider the magpie a bird of happiness, bringing good luck to people. In Russian folklore, the magpie is rather associated with the image of gossips and just chatty women.
**6**. The magpie nest has the shape of a ball with a small hole that serves as an entrance.
**7.** To protect their offspring, magpies prefer to spend the night in large flocks.
**8**. Magpies are very fond of shiny objects. Birds decorate their nests with these trinkets to please themselves and attract a potential partner.
- **Interesting facts about parrots.**
**1.** Parrots have a well—developed sense of rhythm - they can really rhythmically dance to music.
**2.** About a third of all parrot species are currently at risk of extinction due to human activity and poaching.
**3.** In Australia, there are special schools for parrots, where these birds are taught to talk.
**4.** Many parrots like alcohol. In nature, they get it by eating fermented fruits and nuts.
**5.** In fact, parrots do not know how to talk in the usual sense of the word — they just memorize and repeat words. However, not only words — they can memorize and reproduce some other sounds.
**6.** A significant contribution to the budget of the Czech Republic is made by breeding and selling parrots (see interesting facts about the Czech Republic).
**7**. Parrots lack vocal cords, so they produce all sounds with the help of their tongue and beak.
**8**. The smallest parrots live in Papua New Guinea. The size of an adult parrot, more precisely, the length of its body, is 8-9 centimeters.
- **Interesting facts about hummingbirds.**
**1.** Hummingbirds are the smallest birds on Earth . The weight of the smallest hummingbirds among adults is not about three grams.
**2.** The largest of the hummingbirds are gigantic hummingbirds, the size of these birds reaches 21 centimeters, and the weight is 20 grams.
**3.** Hummingbirds have a huge, by their standards, heart — it is three times larger than the stomach, and occupies more than a third of the volume of their entire body.
**4** .The heart of a hummingbird makes 500-1000 beats per minute, and during its life it contracts about 4.5 billion times.
**5**. A hummingbird consumes more food per day than its own weight.
**6**. Hummingbirds can fly at speeds up to 70-80 kilometers per hour.
**7**. Hummingbirds never create permanent pairs.
**8.** A hummingbird makes up to 80 wing flaps per second.

- Fed is Confused which way to go
What do you think
Scenario 1 :-
Fed Pivot, Banks Bailout - Crypto Crash like every Fed Pivot 👍
Scenario 2 :-
Fed continue rising interest rates to curb Inflation and make it healthy market (Survival of th fittest) - Crypto keeps Pumping 🔥
Everyone is requested to react and express their opinion. I'm more inclined towards Scenario 2

- **More 186 US banks well-positioned for collapse, SVB analysis reveals**
Rising interest rates, which brought down the U.S. banking system’s market value of assets by $2 trillion, combined with a large share of uninsured deposits at some U.S. banks, threatens their stability.

- **Interesting facts about stingrays**
**1.** From the point of view of zoology, the closest relatives of stingrays are sharks. At the same time, oddly enough, the sawfish also refers to stingrays, although outwardly it does not look like them at all.
**2.** The basis of the diet of stingrays is made up of various bottom marine animals.
**3.** Most of their species live in salt water, but some live in freshwater rivers.
**4**. Stingrays are found in all oceans and seas, from tropical to Arctic latitudes.
**5**. Some of their species prefer active fish hunting, rather than collecting prey from the bottom.
**6.** Biologists refer stingrays to cartilaginous fish.
**7**. In South Korea, stingrays are eaten, and they are usually eaten raw.
- **Interesting facts about sharks.**
**1.** Sharks don't feel pain.
**2**. The largest shark that ever lived on earth is the megalodon, now extinct. Judging by the fossils, megalodons reached thirty meters in length.
**3**. Some shark species can be called very fast fish — they reach speeds of up to 50 km/h .
**4**. At the same time, the Greenland shark, by the way, which is a delicacy in Iceland, swims at a speed of only 2.5 km / h (see interesting facts about speed).
**5**. Sharks can't sleep. The fact is that they can pass water through the gills, taking oxygen from it, only during swimming, since shark gills at rest cannot "suck in" water themselves. Thus, sharks never sleep, otherwise they will simply suffocate.
**6.** Sharks have eyelids, but they still never blink.
- **Interesting facts about killer whales.**
**1.** Killer whales always give birth to only one cub. About once every five years.
**2.** Sometimes killer whales reach a length of 10 meters and a weight of 6-7 tons.
**3**. The teeth of killer whales grow up to 11-13 centimeters in length.
**4.** A female killer whale never gives birth to more than 5-6 cubs in her entire life.
**5.** Pregnancy in killer whales lasts almost a year and a half.
**6.** Killer whales have their own "language", and killer whales from different groups have their own dialect, if you can call it that, the range of sounds they exchange for communication.
**7.** The killer whale's heart beats twice as often underwater as on the surface.
**8.** Killer whales can reach speeds of up to 50 kilometers per hour.

Ink, watercolour and frittata mista
12/10/2017, Salerno, Italy.
S. invited me to listen her duo performance with T. I arrived to the place with time, and got a wonderful spot, so I could watch and listen to them perfectly. I was drawing in the meantime, of course, and thinking in K. (yes, the same one that I mentioned before: https://lenster.xyz/posts/0xd3a4-0x90).
It was a lovely night, with some oldies in the very nice style of those two girls while enjoying a frittata mista (fries + different kinds of fish) so fresh and good as is typical in the Campania region.
I sold that drawing some time after, in a flea market in Sweden, but that will be a story for another post... 🙂
Drop me a comment: Do you enjoy going to concerts by yourself? Or do you prefer some company?

I’m Mari, welcome to my profile! I create digital illustrations, whimsical cartoonish characters with splashes of bright colors. Hopefully, they spark joy in you!
I’m at the beginning of my art journey and I don’t follow many rules 👾. I’m here to find like-minded people, hang out and share my art pieces as well as my crypto Web3 quests. Stay tuned for that!
Few more things about me: I communicate with cats much better than with humans, but I’m working on that. I'm starting to learn a new language now. I’m an avid traveller and I adore mountain landscapes 🏔. Well, city scapes and street art too!
A huge shout out to @lensprotocol_ru.lens, who helped me getting a profile in Lens, frens you are the best! Thank you! I’m excited to dip my toes into a social platform build in Web3.
