Sketchbook share day!
Not a lot you know, but my daily practice is walking around wherever I'm at, snapping crappy iPhone photos, then sitting down to do a quick 10-15 minute water color study of where I was at. It's a great way for me to braindump ideas and fill up my notebook with ideas. Basically my diary. It rules.
The watercolors are fast, organic, and messy. It's my favorite part in my creative practice.
This sketch was out in NYC. I was on street level looking down towards the subway while this couple was slowly walking up the stairs. The perspective was so cool cause you couldn't figure out what was up or down. I had to capture it.
