- of Adam and Eve
Adam and Eve are figures from the Abrahamic religions that are central to the creation myth of Christianity, Judaism, and Islam. According to the Genesis creation narrative found in the Bible, God created Adam and Eve simultaneously and placed them in the Garden of Eden as the first human inhabitants.
God gave Adam and Eve the task of tending to and caring for the Garden of Eden, but with one caveat: they were forbidden to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil.
One day, a serpent appeared in the Garden and tempted Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, which she did, and then offered some to Adam, who also ate it.
God, angered by the disobedience of Adam and Eve, banished them from the Garden of Eden, and the serpent was cursed. Adam and Eve were forced to live in the world outside of the Garden, and it was now their responsibility to work the land and toil in order to survive.
The story of Adam and Eve is often seen as a cautionary tale about the consequences of disobedience and the importance of obeying God's laws. It is also seen as a symbol of the original sin of mankind, and a reminder of the need for redemption

- of King Arthur
King Arthur is one of the most well-known legendary figures in British literature, and his story has been told and re-told for centuries. He is said to have been a 5th-century king of the Britons who led the defense against Saxon invaders. His exploits, as well as the magical elements of his story, are celebrated in the medieval romance, the "Morte d'Arthur."
Arthur's story begins with his father, Uther Pendragon, who was given the throne of Britain by the wizard Merlin. Uther had a son, Arthur, with Igraine, the wife of another man. However, Merlin placed the boy in the care of Sir Ector, and he was raised in secret.
When Uther died, there was a great dispute over who should be the next king. Merlin proposed a solution: a sword was placed in a stone, and only the person who could pull it out would be the rightful king. Arthur was the only one to succeed, and he was crowned King of Britain.
Arthur then established the Knights of the Round Table and set off on many adventures. He fought many battles, and was eventually betrayed by his half-sister Morgan le Fay. He
- "The Emperor's New Clothes"
"The Emperor's New Clothes" is a classic fairy tale written by Hans Christian Andersen in 1837. In the story, the vain Emperor of a fictional kingdom is tricked by two swindlers who promise him a new suit of clothes that is "invisible to anyone who is either stupid or not fit for his position". Though the Emperor is unable to see the nonexistent fabric, he pretends he can in order to avoid seeming foolish in front of his people.
On the day the Emperor is set to show off his new clothes, the swindlers dress him in their imaginary fabric. As he parades through the streets of his kingdom, the Emperor's subjects all pretend to see the clothes, too, for fear of appearing foolish. Eventually, a young child cries out that the Emperor is naked, and the truth is revealed.
The story is often used as an example of the dangers of believing something simply because it is popular or because everyone else believes it. It is also used to illustrate the power of peer pressure and the need to think for oneself.
