- **I precticed deep breathing and mindfulness.**
Deep breathing exercises help **calm my nervous system.**
They also reduce stress.
I **focused on my breath**, inhaling deeply through my nose and exhaling slowly through my mouth.
Mindfulness meditation also promote my relaxation by **bringing my attention to the present moment** and cultivating inside me a **sense of inner peace.**
