- Now maybe this will shock you. Peter’s arguing that that should be a normal experience for a believer; that there's something deep and beautiful that should root inside of us; that a bad day, a disappointment, a hardship in a relationship, a rebellious child, a cantankerous boss, traffic, should not be able to take away from us.
- Yes and I know EXACTLY what you mean, there’s something about that very particular light, especially looking at it from indoors. I get this feeling more if I feel I haven’t achieved anything that day and now I’m giving up and just…waiting for the end of the day. Waiting for it to get dark but there’s mild boredom and sadness and apathy. Like even if you messaged, nobody would respond. Perhaps you’re so physically or mentally off-grid nobody knows where you are. I feel like you’ve put it into words.
- I love the in between times like dawn and dusk. It makes me think of old folk tales, particularly trolls waking up. It energises me, particularly if it’s quiet, there’s that milky light when it’s bright enough to see but the sun isn’t in the sky yet and there’s a fresh breeze that makes leaves stir. My imagination adds in fae creatures and it feels like the start of an adventure.
- Hypnosis followed by meditation works in my experience if you have the discipline and patience to do it. Takes about 6 months of daily routine plus I did extra sessions on tough days. I focused on-life goals and hobbies/interest so hard that they eventually took over my thoughts.
