I'm amber, an artist and photographer based in NYC (but I was born and raised in Taiwan 🇹🇼). I've always been very passionate about visual art and experimented with various media, both traditional and digital. Aside from sketching portraits and imaginary creatures for fun, I also love learning different design tools, both 2D and 3D, to bring my creative vision to life.
I fell in love with film photography in the summer of 2021 when I was traveling abroad, and have been sharing my work constantly ever since. It allows me to tell stories through photographs that resembles my own thoughts and emotions - and when I do capture moments with a digital camera, I always play with the color palette to further convey the mood and solidify the narrative.

- She considered the birds to be her friends. She'd put out food for them each morning and then she'd watch as they came to the feeders to gorge themselves for the day. She wondered what they would do if something ever happened to her. Would they miss the meals she provided if she failed to put out the food one morning?

- The wave crashed and hit the sandcastle head-on. The sandcastle began to melt under the waves force and as the wave receded, half the sandcastle was gone. The next wave hit, not quite as strong, but still managed to cover the remains of the sandcastle and take more of it away. The third wave, a big one, crashed over the sandcastle completely covering and engulfing it. When it receded, there was no trace the sandcastle ever existed and hours of hard work disappeared forever.
- Out of another, I get a lovely view of the bay and a little private wharf belonging to the estate. There is a beautiful shaded lane that runs down there from the house. I always fancy I see people walking in these numerous paths and arbors, but John has cautioned me not to give way to fancy in the least. He says that with my imaginative power and habit of story-making a nervous weakness like mine is sure to lead to all manner of excited fancies and that I ought to use my will and good sense to check the tendency. So I try.

- His parents continued to question him. He didn't know what to say to them since they refused to believe the truth. He explained again and again, and they dismissed his explanation as a figment of his imagination. There was no way that grandpa, who had been dead for five years, could have told him where the treasure had been hidden. Of course, it didn't help that grandpa was roaring with laughter in the chair next to him as he tried to explain once again how he'd found it.
